Today we are feeling huge gratitude for our summer student Willow 💖🙏🏼 🎬 Willow joined the Foundry Sunshine Coast team as our Youth Digital Media Creator. She has been working closely with our youth advisory and creating short films to share with our community.

🎉What a fantastic pop-up by SCCSS Youth Outreach!☀️

The SCCSS Youth Outreach Program has had an amazing summer of youth camps and pop-ups and much more, and it’s been great to see this awesome crew giving out hotdogs, swag and smiles out in the community 🌭😊❤️

This week’s pop-up took place out front of the future location of Foundry Sunshine Coast (Foundry Sunshine Coast), and some youth and staff from Foundry SC joined in on the fun as well...

Foundry SC is so excited to be back at this spot on Thursday, August 20th for an Open House! So come on by and find out all about Foundry Sunshine Coast!

We are so lucky to have Willow as part of the SCCSS and Foundry Sunshine Coast team for July and August.

🧵 What an amazing workshop! 🪡

Last Thursday our friend Sandy Buck from deer crossing the art farm facilitated an awesome Ribbon Hoodie Workshop alongside members of in the Foundry Studio.

We saw some incredible creations come to life, as local youth and Foundry SC staff took to the sewing machines to give new life to some well-loved garments.

Needle-less to say, it was such a creative and fun day 🙂❤️ 🩵 💚

🎥 Foundry Sunshine Coast is hiring a Youth Digital Media Creator (ages 15-30) for a summer position based in Sechelt, BC.

We’re looking for a creative young person who can work independently, with skills or interest in social media, video, photography, communications, or digital storytelling to help share the Foundry story and engage youth in co-creating content.

This role will support the creation of reels, short-form videos, photography, and community updates as Foundry Sunshine Coast prepares to open in 2027.

✨ Full-time summer position
📍 Sechelt, BC
💵 $21/hour

Ideal for post-secondary students or emerging creators building experience in communications, film, marketing, journalism, or digital media.
