With the purchase of Deer Lake Lodge in June 2021 I entered an exciting new chapter when I became a glampground proprietor (a.k.a. Deer Lake Lodge has hosted guests since the 1920's when it was built as a hunting lodge, it has been through many reinventions since then and was even abandoned for a couple of decades. I've rebranded it as Deer Lake Wilderness Retreat, and my vision is to create a com

munity where my guests can relax in nature, reflect on life, and restore their soul. Phase A is well underway with the establishment of a glampground, and phase B will be to introduce workshops with a focus on wellness.
