Lip correction is not about making lips look “more red.”
It is about understanding undertones, melanin, healed behavior, and how pigment interacts with the tissue over time.

When lips carry uneven cool, dark, or muted tones, the goal is not to overpower them with a brighter color.
The goal is to strategically correct first, so the lips can heal into a more balanced, healthier-looking result.

Immediately after a lip neutralization tattoo, the lips can look brighter, bolder, and a little more intense than the final healed result and that is completely normal.

This is the fresh stage.

Right after the procedure, you may notice:
• swelling
• tenderness
• a stronger/warm-toned color
• dryness as the healing begins

A lot of clients get nervous because they expect the final result right away, but lip neutralization is a healing process not an instant final color.

What is important to understand:
The colour you see on day 1 is not the healed result.
As the lips heal, the tone will soften and settle.
Neutralization often takes multiple sessions depending on the natural depth and coolness/darkness in the lips.

This treatment is all about correction, balance, and patience.

Four sessions. Eighteen months. Plus lip filler (timed safely between sessions).
This is lip neutralization done methodically not rushed.
What we assess before we start:
• Lip tissue health and thickness: dryness, vascularity, previous trauma, and how plump tissue holds and reflects color
• Undertone: cool or blue, brown, or mixed this determines our first neutralizer
• Hue and value: hue is the color family we are aiming for; value is how light or dark the lip reads. We gradually lift value while keeping the hue natural for your complexion
• Healed behavior: we work in stages with 30, 60, and 90-day reviews to see how your lips settle before deciding the next step
