Birth balls can be such a great tool during pregnancy and labour! 💛

Since my last birth though... mine has doubled as a toddler trampoline and survived a few questionable encounters with the radiator. Safe to say it’s lived many lives. 😅

Did you know the HSC keeps birth balls in every birth room? Have a little peek in the bathroom when you arrive!

Six years ago yesterday, two births happened — a baby’s and a mother’s.

After a gruelling and emotional labour, my world shifted forever. What I’ve been learning over these past six years is that I’ll never be the same person I was before. There’s been grief in letting go of who I once was, but also deep growth, resilience, and a reimagining of the strength I carry.

So, a happy (belated) birthday to one of the most curious, silly, and intelligent little humans I know — and a happy birth day to me, too. A gentle reminder: as we celebrate our little ones, let’s remember to celebrate ourselves as well. 💕
