When You Partner With Spirit… ✨💫

One of my favourite things about working with my angels, guides and Spirit team is watching how they can orchestrate the most incredible little moments when we invite them to help. 😇✨

A few days ago, I had a VERY busy day ahead of me. I had to take my dad to the hospital, and because parking at the hospital is always an adventure, I decided to ask my Spirit team the day before:

"Please help everything flow smoothly tomorrow. Let me be where I need to be, when I need to be there… and please help me find a parking spot with ease!" 😂🙏

Well… they delivered.

I pulled into the parkade and, right in the first row, a car was pulling out.

Parking spot secured. ✔️
Okay Spirit… I see you. 😉

But apparently that wasn't all they had planned.

When I went to pay for parking, my card wouldn't work. I looked down and realized someone had left their credit card in the payment slot.

Now I was running out of time to get to my dad's appointment, so I grabbed the card and decided I'd take it to the information booth in case the owner came looking for it.

As I'm walking through the hospital, I pass a bunch of people and then an elevator opens. A group of people comes out.

And suddenly I hear, very clearly in my mind:

"That's her. The one in the pink shirt."

I turned around.

Sure enough… one woman in a pink shirt was walking away from me. 😳

And immediately my human mind kicked in:

"Really? Her? What are the odds? What if you're wrong?!" 😂

Then again I hear:

"That's her. The one in the pink shirt."

Okay. 😂

So I walked quickly toward her and said:

"Excuse me… did you happen to lose a credit card?"

She looked at me and said yes.

I asked her name to make sure I had the right person and, sure enough, it matched.

I told her I had found her credit card.

Her face lit up.

She said she had been looking everywhere and had actually been praying in her mind that she would find it. 🙏❤️

Then she looked at me and asked:

"But how did you know it was me?" 😂

So I told her.

She wasn't surprised at all.

She was actually delighted and said she was so happy her prayers had been heard. 🥰

And I walked away thinking…

THIS.

This is what I love about partnering with Spirit.

It's not always about some huge, mystical event.

Sometimes it's a parking spot.

Sometimes it's a card left in a machine.

Sometimes it's an elevator opening at exactly the right moment.

Sometimes it's hearing a quiet nudge and having the courage to follow it—even when your human mind is saying, "Ummm… are you sure about this?" 😂

We don't always get to see the whole picture.

We just get the next nudge.

And when we learn to listen, trust and act on those little whispers, we can become part of the answer to someone else's prayer too. ✨

I often say Spirit doesn't always move the mountain… sometimes Spirit simply arranges the stepping stones.

And honestly?

I think that's where some of the magic lives. 💫

Have you ever had a moment where you just knew you were being guided… and then watched it all make sense afterward?
I'd love to hear your story. 👇✨

Yesterday as I stood with Happy and the herd, I recognized the mirror they were holding for me....

It has been a busy summer, filled with duality.

Joy and sadness.
Rest and play.
Leisure and work.

But if I'm honest, July held more emotionally charged moments than I realized. As the month came to a close, I found myself spending more time in "doing" than simply being.

Then I watched Happy and the herd.

Every one of them was grazing 🌱

For horses, grazing is so much more than eating. While grazing nourishes their bodies, it also supports regulation of their nervous systems. After a stressful or emotionally charged event, returning to grazing is one of the ways they settle, reconnect, and return to a state where they feel safe and present.

But it isn't something they do only after stress.

Grazing is woven throughout their day.

It is a daily rhythm that helps them stay nourished, balanced, connected, and regulated.

Perhaps my version of grazing is simply remembering how to come home to myself.

🌱To quiet the noise.

🌱To regulate my nervous system.

🌱To spend time in nature.

🌱To meditate.

🌱To breathe a little deeper.

🌱To laugh.

🌱To move my body.

🌱To do the things that bring me joy.

Not because I have earned them, but because they help me return to myself.

And I was reminded that this isn't something I'm meant to do only after life feels overwhelming.

It's a daily practice.

A way of staying connected to myself before I drift too far from who I am.

How often do we override the quiet wisdom of our own bodies?

We become so focused on accomplishing, achieving, helping, and giving that we forget we, too, need daily moments that nourish our nervous systems, replenish our energy, and bring us back into balance.

Because when we tend to our nervous systems, nourish our souls, and create space for joy, we become more present for the lives we're living—not just after the storm, but every day.

Maybe blooming doesn't begin with becoming.

Maybe it begins with remembering how to come home to ourselves.

Maybe it begins by returning to grazing.

🌱 I'm curious... what does your version of grazing look like...

Is it time in nature?
Meditation?
Gardening?
Reading?
Music?
Walking?
Creating?
Sitting quietly with your morning coffee?

I'd love to hear what helps you come home to yourself 💜🌸

A Journey of Happenstance....

I believe in synchronicities, not coincidences. Looking back, I know it was nothing short of divine intervention that I adopted my horse, Happenstance—affectionately known as Happy—just two months before my brother passed away.

His passing was sudden and traumatic, and I was struggling to process a grief unlike anything I had ever known.

Five days after he died, my husband gently said, "Why don't you go visit Happy? Maybe he came into your life when he did for a reason."

At the time Happy was boarded with a large herd of about 15 horses. It took every ounce of energy I had just to leave the house and drive there.

When I arrived the herd was peacefully grazing in the back pasture. As I walked across the field toward them, I got about halfway before my legs gave way beneath me. A wave of grief washed over me, and I collapsed to the ground, sobbing. I poured every tear into the earth.

Then something started to shift.

For the first time since my brother's passing, I felt a wave of peace move through me.

When I looked up, I saw Happy standing completely still. Behind him, the entire herd stood in a V formation, with Happy at the point. Fifteen horses stood silently, facing me.

No one moved.

There was no urgency. No judgement. No expectations. No attempt to fix my pain.

Only presence.

For the next several minutes, they simply held space for me. As my tears slowed, I could feel my body soften. The tension began to release, and something deep within me settled.

When the moment was complete, they quietly returned to grazing.

I didn't try to explain what had happened. I was new to the wisdom of horses. Instead, I simply accepted the gift they had offered.

After sitting for a little while longer, I began walking back toward my vehicle. As I did, I turned to see Happy following me. Then, one by one, the entire herd began to follow behind him.

When I reached the fence line, I turned to say goodbye.

What happened next is something I will never forget.

The lead gelding stopped a few feet away from me. Then, as he held space, one by one, each horse approached. Like a quiet procession, they each took a turn standing close enough to share breath with me.

With every warm breath, I felt love.

I felt support.

I felt release.

In that sacred moment, I felt the Divine. I felt my brother. I knew with every part of my being that although he was no longer here in physical form, he still existed. He was still with me.

Fifteen horses acknowledged my grief without a single word.

They showed me that healing isn't something we do by forcing ourselves to move on. Sometimes healing comes from allowing ourselves to be fully seen, fully held, and fully present with what is.

To this day, I can return to that moment whenever I need peace. It reminds me that emotions are not meant to be carried forever. They are meant to be felt, witnessed, and allowed to move through us, as often as needed, as we walk this journey of grief.

That day, a herd of horses gifted me one of the most profound experiences and lessons of my life.

Sometimes the greatest medicine isn't found in words.

It's found in presence 💜

✨What if I told you your SOUL is speaking to you through every moment of the day....gently guiding you, providing you clues to what it most wants to do, to be, to feel, to experience, to learn......

✨What if I told you that your ANGELS and GUIDES who walk with you are just waiting for their invitation from you to further support and guide you in whatever way you need.....

✨What if I told you that your BODY is always speaking to you....it is one of many ways that your soul communicates with you.....

✨What if I told you that everyday MAGIC exists all around you....the signs and synchronicities are a part of this magic and a part of the intricate web of connection we are all a part of....

✨What if I told you the only thing that we can control is our PERCEPTION....and that our perception is what creates our reality....

✨What if I told you that healing is not about fixing something that is broken, as we are not broken we are whole just as we are....but healing is simply about extracting the GIFTS and the MEDICINE from our wounds and experiencing the growth and transformation that can come from doing so....

✨What if I told you that your LOVED ONES who have passed are still with you, just in different form, that they are still supporting you and experiencing life with and through you, that we can still communicate with them, all you need to do is tune into the right frequency.....think of it like a radio station, you know all the music exists, that it is there somewhere all you need to do is tune into the right frequency to hear it.....

Today marks 9 years since my brother Darren left this physical world.

Nine years of missing his smile, his presence, and the countless moments I wish we could still share.

Grief has changed over the years, but it has never disappeared. I don’t think we ever stop loving the people we lose, and because of that, I don’t think we ever stop missing them.

What has changed is my relationship with him.

A few years before my brother passed, my mediumship abilities began to awaken. At the time, I had no idea how important that would become.

Looking back, I can see how those experiences helped me navigate the years that followed in a way I never could have understood at the time.

His passing didn’t hurt any less because I could sense him. I still experienced heartbreak, loss, and all the emotions that come with losing someone you love deeply.

But alongside the grief, I also experienced something else.

Connection.

Through signs, synchronicities, moments of knowing, and a presence that has remained with me throughout these last nine years, I have come to understand that while our relationship changed, it did not end.

In many ways, I know him differently now than I did when he was physically here.

I see him in his children and in my parents.

I feel him in moments that matter.

I hear his guidance when I become still enough to listen.

Over the years, I’ve come to understand that grief isn’t something to overcome or leave behind. It is love continuing to exist when someone is no longer here in the way we once knew them.

I have learned to hold the sadness of missing him alongside the gratitude of still feeling connected to him. To hold the grief alongside the joy. The longing alongside the love.

Both are true.

One of the greatest lessons my brother’s passing taught me was that even in our most painful experiences, there can be gifts.

Not gifts that erase the loss.

But gifts that emerge from what we are asked to learn, become, and discover as we walk through the experience.

Because of him, I have a deeper understanding of the preciousness of life. A greater appreciation for the people I love. A knowing that tomorrow is never promised.

And perhaps one of the greatest gifts he gave me was teaching me that grief and gratitude, loss and love, longing and connection can all exist in the same heart at the same time.

His passing deepened my relationship with Spirit, strengthened my trust in what cannot always be seen, and showed me that love does not end when a physical life does.

The gift does not replace the grief.

The gift exists alongside it.

That is the duality I have come to live with and honour.

Today, I honour my brother.

I celebrate his life, the love he gave and still gives, and the countless ways his soul continues to touch mine and those that love him.

Nine years later, I still miss him.

Nine years later, I still love him.

And nine years later, our relationship continues—not in the way I once knew it, but in a way that has taught me that love is far greater than physical presence.

The bond we share did not end when his life on Earth ended. It simply changed form.

And for that, I am deeply grateful. ❤️

Angels 😇
Everyday Magic 🪄
Signs 🪧
Synchronicities ✨

I start each day off with a morning meeting with my angels, guides and Spirit ✨

It is my way of building a relationship with my spirit team, to thank them for supporting and guiding me, to ask for what I may need help with that day and to set the intention of my day.

Today I asked to be open to receiving a sign that would be magical and inspirational…..a reminder that everyday magic exists all around us if we are open to it….

Well Spirit delivered and what I loved so much is also the touch of whimsy and humour Spirit often has that brings such joy into your life 😊

Not surprising that it came from this amazing encounter with a wild crow 🐦‍⬛ they are such smart birds! I work closely with spirit animals and part of the medicine they carry is of course MAGIC and are also known as powerful messengers between realms….

I was at a park in town when I heard the words “Hello mom” and turned around to find this delightful soul 😍

So magical!!! But as Spirit often does there is another deeper layer to this….I felt inspired by Spirit to share this not only about everyday magic but felt it was also a sign for a mom(s)….

So for any mom out there who finds themselves reading this and watching the video and you have a child on the otherside trust that this is no coincidence! Trust in the synchronicity and that this is your sign today that they are still with you….and if this is for you know I am also sending light and love your way 💕

✨The difference between an urge and intuition ✨

An urge is often generated in the mind through fear, logic, or the need to control an outcome.

It feels rushed, heavy, reactive, or attached to something happening a certain way.

Intuition is different....
It is subtle.
It is loving.
It is gentle.

Intuition can arrive as a quiet knowing, a moment of inspiration, or an inspired action that feels aligned within the heart 🩷

It does not demand.
It does not force.
It does not try to control the outcome.

The mind 🧠 seeks certainty.
The soul ✨ seeks alignment.

Learning the difference changes everything. 🌸
