🌴 Would you believe this entire coconut is made from wax? 🥥

At first glance, it looks like a freshly opened coconut, but everything from the textured shell and creamy white flesh to the translucent “coconut water” centre is actually wax!

This tropical candle project combines BW 921 Natural Pillar Wax Blend with Versagel C MP Candle Gel Wax to create the different textures and layers of a real coconut. Scented with Island Coconut Fragrance Oil, it’s a fun sculptural candle that looks almost good enough to eat.

One of the most interesting parts of this project is how the coconut shape is made. A simple foil-form technique creates the natural curves, texture and imperfections that give each coconut its realistic appearance—no specialty coconut mold required.
