From Day 1, birthday-girl Taylor has been pole position in my heart. I am so proud of how she has navigated her life with tenacity, ethics and care for others on the track. Twenty-nine laps in, she is running her own race… and winning.

July 2012. Me & my children at No-Man’s Land in France. So thankful for the sacrifices so many Canadians made during war, including their spouses, parents and children who sent them. Spencer, in this picture, was 12…only 6 years away from being drafted had we lived back then.
