As a part of my original career (Human services counselling) and a mental health warrior and advocate I am passionate about strengthening my own mental health and the mental health of others. This requires working your mental health muscles. There are many simples tools we can incorporate into our lives to help us improve our mental health by regulating our nervous system and creating positive outlets for coping and improved mental health. Mental health is like a continuum where on one end we can be extremely well or on the other end deeply suffering. Most people sit somewhere in there sliding towards better or more challenged mental health depending on many factors and life events. Anything from childbirth to loss of a loved one, to dissatisfaction with work or genetic disposition . Without meaningful action this can have a snowball effect on our lives. It affects our self esteem, our motivation , our parenting our relationship and our performance at work and other areas. More and more I am hearing from many clients and friends that they are feeling some or all of these feelings.

Chronically tired
No motivation
Nothing to look forward too
Feelings of dread
Hopelessness about the future
Frustrated
Many people are doing what they can to cope in this busy world . Some are struggling to find healthy coping and defaulting to less than ideal coping . This is more common than many feel safe to admit. I do not say this with any judgement because at times I am also that person. I know what to do and have training but that does not always mean I don't fall back into old patterns on occasion.
It is always a good time to take action for myself and others and really dig into a
MENTAL HEALTH ACTION PLAN. I have put a lot of effort into the preparation of the delivery of BABY STEP tools and reflective exercises to shift your mental health in the right direction on the continuum of mental health . This Mental Health Babysteps Bootcamp is a 30 day daily support, education and tools delivery right to your email with SIMPLE tools, strategies , reflections and actions you can take for 10 minutes a day to help you get out of or avoiding getting into a funk. Some of it you may know already but I am certain there will be tools and exercises new to all. I will be here to help hold you accountable and remind you not only are you worth it but this is crucial. We will be holding up the mirror and staying accountable so we can take full responsibility for our mental health .
