I still second-guess myself.

Over the last couple of weeks, I've questioned whether my content is resonating, whether the analytics mean I'm reaching the women I truly want to reach, whether my tone is right — even whether people are connecting with me.

That's the truth behind building something that matters to you.

But I've also noticed that I don't stay in the doubt as long anymore.

I remind myself why I'm doing this. DivaFit&Fab is purpose-driven for me. Yes, I want it to grow and become a successful business — but purpose is what keeps bringing me back to the work.

So I press record anyway. I keep learning. I keep refining. I keep showing up.

Confidence doesn't always have to go first.

Sometimes you take the next step while the doubt is still talking — and let confidence catch up.

Save this for the next time self-doubt tries to convince you to stop before you've given yourself time to grow.

Some days the hardest part of a workout is figuring out what kind of tired you're actually feeling.

After a mentally draining workday, I almost talked myself out of training. Instead of automatically pushing through — or automatically staying home — I checked in with myself.

Was my body genuinely asking for recovery? Or was my mind exhausted from the day?

I decided to get dressed, start, and do what I could with the energy I had. Once I began moving, the mental heaviness lifted. I finished the workout and even got through ten minutes on the StairMaster — still not my favourite. 😂

For me, sustainable fitness after 40 is becoming less about rigid rules and more about awareness: check in, make an intentional choice, and adjust when you need to.

Do what you can with the energy you have.

Have you ever started a workout tired and realized movement was exactly what you needed?

Style confidence after 40 isn't always a dramatic transformation. Sometimes it's catching yourself in one of those tiny moments when an old insecurity tries to make the decision for you.

I had one of those moments recently. I was dressed, I liked what I was wearing, and still caught myself thinking about changing before I left the house.

The difference? I noticed what was happening. I reminded myself that I actually felt good — and I walked out the door.

The old thoughts may still visit. They just don't get the final say anymore.

That's part of what confidence after 40 looks like for me: not becoming a completely different woman, but trusting the woman I am a little more.

Have you ever almost changed something you loved because an old insecurity showed up?

I had an actually unproductive Saturday this week.

No errands crossed off. No inbox cleared. Nothing I could point to and call progress. No plan. No structure. I just let the day be what it was.

Old me would have felt guilty about that by Sunday morning.

I think a lot of us measure a good weekend by how much we got done, even on the days that were supposed to be for resting. This one didn’t get anything done, and it was still a good Saturday.

This time, I was completely okay with it.

Save this for the next Saturday that just needs to be boring — no explanation required.

"I skipped the cardio portion of my workout.

Kept the strength work. Just cut the cardio — by the time I got to it, I could tell my body had had enough for that day. Old rule would’ve said finish what’s on the plan, no matter what.

Today the plan adjusted instead of me pushing through it.

Training smarter after 40 isn’t about doing less. It’s about actually listening mid-session instead of only reviewing the plan before you start and never checking in again until it’s over.

That’s not a lesser workout. That’s just training smarter.

What would it look like to trust a shorter version was still enough today?

Tell me below.

On the day I didn’t feel confident, I still recorded this.

Not a confident version of me pretending the doubt wasn’t there. Just me, doing the thing anyway, doubt included.

That’s been the actual practice lately — not waiting to feel ready before I show up, just showing up and letting the feeling catch up whenever it does, or doesn’t.

Confidence isn’t a switch that stays on once you find it. Some days it’s loud. Some days it’s quiet. I’m learning both versions still count as mine.

Today it didn’t. I’m still here.

Tag a friend who needs to hear that showing up before the feeling catches up still counts.

Confidence at work isn't always about having the perfect answer.

Sometimes it's being willing to say what you actually think — clearly, respectfully and without shrinking the point before anyone has heard it.

Learning how to speak with confidence and authority is part of leadership growth.

So is disagreeing well, asking the harder question and contributing a perspective that may not be the easiest one in the room.

Executive presence isn't about becoming louder or performing certainty.

For me, it looks much more like being grounded enough to use my voice when it matters.

That's also how influence grows: not from speaking all the time, but from learning when your perspective needs to be in the conversation.

Save this for the next meeting where you're rehearsing the disagreement instead of saying it.

Healthy lifestyle habits after 40 aren't only about what you add to your routine. Sometimes they're about knowing when recovery is the healthier choice.

Exercise matters. Strength matters. So do sleep, recovery, stress management and paying attention to how your body is responding to the life you're actually living.

That's one reason recovery matters for women's health: a sustainable wellness routine needs enough flexibility to support both training and restoration.

Skipping one workout didn't undo my healthy habits. It was part of them.

Wellness after 40 doesn't have to mean doing everything perfectly. I'm much more interested in building habits I can actually sustain.

Send this to a friend who still overrides her body's signals for the sake of consistency.

POV: you finally admit your ‘rest day’ isn’t actually restful.

Mine used to look like catching up on emails I’d been avoiding all week. Running errands I’d put off. Doing the load of laundry, the meal prep, the thing I told myself would feel good to finally cross off.

None of it was rest. It was just quieter productivity.

I’m starting to notice the difference between a day off from work and a day that’s actually off.

I’m still figuring out what real rest looks like for me. But I’m starting to ask the question honestly.

Tell me below — what would an actually restful Saturday look like for you?

Save this to revisit next weekend.
