No matter how healthy you are, some things simply can’t be fixed with diet and exercise alone.

This wonderful patient lived an active, healthy lifestyle but remained frustrated by loose abdominal skin and stubborn areas of excess fat that persisted despite her best efforts. To help her achieve her goals, I performed a full lipoabdominoplasty, combining a tummy tuck with liposuction of the abdomen and flanks to create a firmer, smoother, and more athletic-looking contour.

At just 6 months after surgery, her transformation is already remarkable. While the physical changes are significant, what makes me happiest is seeing the confidence that comes with feeling comfortable in your own skin again.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping patients address concerns that they have worked hard to improve on their own but simply cannot overcome through lifestyle changes alone. Procedures such as lipoabdominoplasty are not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle; rather, they can help refine and restore the results of that hard work.

I am incredibly grateful for the trust my patients place in me and my team, and I could not be happier to have been part of her journey.

This gentleman felt that the bags beneath his eyes made him appear constantly fatigued, even when he felt energetic and well-rested. To address this concern, he underwent upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty along with facial fat grafting for facial balancing and rejuvenation.

These photos were taken just 6 weeks after surgery. His upper and lower eyelid incisions have healed exceptionally well, to the point that they are essentially imperceptible. The combination of eyelid surgery and strategic fat grafting has helped restore a more refreshed, youthful appearance while maintaining a natural look that still feels completely like him.

One of the most rewarding aspects of facial rejuvenation surgery is helping patients look as vibrant and full of life as they feel on the inside. We are grateful to have been part of his journey.

Procedure:
• Upper Blepharoplasty
• Lower Blepharoplasty
• Facial Fat Grafting

Good coffee, churros and chocolate, long walks, and time with the people who matter most. Grateful for the chance to slow things down for a moment and come back refreshed, focused, and ready for what’s ahead.

I’ve always believed that short breaks help me come back sharper, more focused, and refreshed — and ultimately better able to give my patients the energy, attention, and care they deserve.

Looking forward to being back soon and hitting the ground running for a very busy few months ahead.

🚨 Announcing The Opening Of A Luxury Concierge Wound Clinic In Jamaica 🚨

I thought my wound clinic days were behind me, but apparently not.

Current patient census: 1 (my son) with a minor scrape acquired somewhere between the beach and the pool.

Treatment protocol:
• Hypochlorous acid to gently cleanse the wound
• Liquid skin bandage for waterproof protection so he can still enjoy the pool

Outcome: patient cleared to immediately resume vacation activities.

Clinic hours: between swims. 🏝️

Three Weeks After A Preservation Deep Plane Facelift And Neck Lift

Modern facial rejuvenation surgery is not simply about tightening skin — it is about restoring facial balance, proportion, and harmony.

In this patient, I performed a preservation deep plane face and neck lift with fat grafting and facial balancing just three weeks ago. Even at this early stage of recovery, you can already see meaningful improvements in the jawline definition, neck contour, and overall facial balance.

The deep plane facelift is a technique that focuses on repositioning deeper facial structures rather than relying on surface tightening alone. By working in deeper tissue planes and preserving key anatomical structures, surgeons aim to achieve results that appear natural, balanced, and age-appropriate.

However, an important point that is often overlooked is that the name of the technique itself is not what determines the quality of a facelift. Terms like “deep plane,” “SMAS,” or “preservation facelift” describe surgical approaches, but the most important factors remain surgical judgment, anatomical understanding, and artistry.

Every face ages differently, and excellent results come from individualized planning and careful restoration of facial proportions, not simply applying a technique by name.

In this case, fat grafting was used to restore areas of volume loss and improve transitions between the cheeks, jawline, and neck, helping create a smoother and more harmonious facial profile.

At only three weeks after surgery, swelling will continue to settle and the results will continue to mature over the coming months.

For patients researching facelift surgery in Toronto, deep plane facelift Toronto, or face and neck lift Toronto, thoughtful surgical planning and refined technique play a key role in achieving elegant and natural-looking outcomes.

💡 Can I get large breast implants and a lift at the same time? 🤔
Sometimes — but if you’re aiming for a truly large implant, the answer is often no.
In most cases, a single-stage augmentation + lift (augmentation mastopexy) can be beautifully performed when goals are moderate to moderate-plus and the tissues can safely support both.
When implant goals are very large and/or the lift required is significant, it becomes a matter of refinement and longevity: more implant weight increases tension on the lift, and a more aggressive lift can limit implant size and shape options.
In those select situations, I may recommend a two-stage approach for the most elegant, stable result:
1. Lift first
2. Add the implant 6–12 months later once tissues have fully settled

Rapid weight loss can be life-changing—and GLP-1 medications have helped many patients dramatically improve their health and quality of life.

But when a significant amount of weight comes off in a short period of time, the skin doesn’t always “shrink-wrap” with it. Because skin envelops the entire body, rapid weight loss can leave a relative excess of soft tissue and loose skin in multiple areas.

A simple “top-down” way to think about it:
• Face/neck: early laxity may mean considering a face or neck lift
• Chest: some men may develop excess chest skin and benefit from chest reduction/contouring
• Breasts: volume loss can lead to droopiness—sometimes a breast lift, and in some cases augmentation to restore shape
• Midsection: loose abdominal skin often leads patients to consider a tummy tuck
• Lower body: more global laxity can require a circumferential body lift
• Thighs: thigh lifts can address loose skin in the lower extremities

GLP-1s can be a huge net positive. This is simply about setting expectations—so you’re not surprised by the skin changes that can follow major weight loss.

If you’re navigating “Ozempic/GLP-1 body” changes and want a tailored plan, book a consultation.

Six-week results after submental liposuction (double chin liposuction) in Toronto.

This before-and-after reel shows early results at just 6 weeks following submental (under-chin) liposuction to refine the jawline and reduce fullness beneath the chin. At this stage, healing is still in progress—I expect the result to continue improving over the next 6–12 months as residual swelling settles and the tissues tighten and mature.

Technique details:
• Single ~0.5cm incision hidden in the crease behind the chin
• Targeted contouring of the submental area for a cleaner cervicomental angle (neck/jawline definition)

In our experience, neck liposuction delivers a more meaningful, predictable contour change than injectable “double chin” options, especially when the goal is sharper definition rather than subtle improvement.

If you’re researching double chin liposuction in Toronto or neck liposuction in Toronto, the key is proper assessment: some patients benefit most from liposuction alone, while others may need skin tightening or additional structural repositioning for the best outcome.

Before + after at day 1 and day 3 following a preservation deep plane face/neck lift, endoscopic brow lift, and fat grafting for natural volume restoration.

You’ll notice something that can look alarming in these early photos: a hemostatic net.

This is not a bandage or dressing. It’s a temporary pattern of fine sutures I place on the skin in select areas to provide gentle, evenly distributed support and compression during the first few days of healing. The goal is to:
• help achieve reliable hemostasis (reduce the risk of early bleeding)
• minimize fluid accumulation (hematoma/seroma risk)
• reduce swelling and bruising
• support a smooth, even early contour as tissues settle

I typically remove the hemostatic net at post-op day 3, and patients are often surprised by how much more “normal” things look immediately after.

Healing is a process—these are very early results, and I’ll share more updates as swelling continues to improve.
