Community Acupuncture at Tsumugi Healing Arts Turns ONE!

We are truly grateful for the year I offered Community Acupuncture and patients who received the treatments. We are also grateful for my self 1 year ago who decided to do it against all the insecurity and unsureness!

In Community Acupuncture, people share their healing moment, the cost of treatment, and journey with one other (non-verbally) while they received an OS-update (aka. Acupuncture).

With the cost of everything increasing and community and connection becoming thin and weak, this type of healing is so needed.

At Tsumugi Healing Arts, Community Acupuncture is open to everyone, we do not ask for proof of income or any other documentation.

Also, intake is done privately online prior to the session. This is necessary for tailored treatment planning for the individual concerns, because each person is unique.

Talk is kept minimal during sessions to protect your privacy.
Patients enjoy quiet moments for 30 to 40 minutes while resting comfortably on our spacious XL-size zero gravity chairs, with acupuncture needles placed according to their individual treatment for an OS update.

Treatments are provided by a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac). Insurance receipts are issued.

Curious how it works? Here is the simple 2-steps:
1. Book your Online Intake: $50 (Wed/Thu)
2. Attend a Tuesday morning Community Acupuncture session: $50 per visit
That's it!

We have spaces available, if you or someone you know might benefit from this kind of hearing opportunity, please consider receiving and sharing the information. We are ready to have you on our confortable space.

Community acupuncture grows best through community.

With gratitude,

Happy Summer Solstice!

Summer Solstice marks the peak of Yang energy.

It’s the longest day of the year, the sun reaches its highest point and warmth is at its fullest.

In Chinese Medicine, this is a time to absorb and cultivate that warmth.

When our bodies move in sync with nature, we are often better prepared for the seasons ahead.

Do you always feel cold in Fall and Winter?
Struggle with low mood during the darker months?
Deal with seasonal allergies every Spring?

The care you give your body and mind today may shape how you experience the rest of the year.

Here are a few dos and don'ts for Summer, especially around the Summer Solstice:

Do
- Spend time outdoors
- Feel the warmth of the sun
- Open your chest and breathe deeply
- Laugh often and make funny jokes
- Enjoy naturally red-coloured foods
- Take a long bath (up to the neck)
- Rest by candlelight in the evening

Don't
- Stay indoors all day
- Spend all day in air-conditioned spaces
- Eat or drink everything ice-cold
- Spend all your time in pools or cold water

You're welcome 😊
