The leaves are changing quickly, and the herbs are slowing down. What a beautiful season we have been blessed with. We are now closed for the season, with the exception of overnight stays. The nursery and culinary experiences will resume in April 2027.

Thank you to all of our cherished guests for putting Inner Oaks on the map. We look forward to welcoming you back in the spring.

As a busy seasonal business in the Yarmouth region, it’s lovely to be recognized for our contributions to local tourism. 💛 Congratulations to all the nominees.

Each Cacao ceremony brings its own energy in, reflecting the energy of those in attendance, it was a powerful one. Tomorrow, Laura is hosting a Cacao Ceremony at Inner Oaks from 9:00–11:40 a.m. 🤎

She’ll be serving an intentional cacao from Peru, and as part of the finale experience, we’ll be sharing this beautiful fruit platter along with some toasted nuts.

It’s a space to speak and be heard, release what no longer serves you, call in what you desire, and listen to what your heart is asking for.

If you’ve already signed up, remember to avoid caffeine and a heavy breakfast before you arrive. And be sure to bring your journal. ✨

We’ve hosted several of these ceremonies over the past few years, and they can be genuinely transformational. Our guests arrive as strangers and leave as friends. ✨

This is happening tomorrow morning. We were completely full, and just had one cancellation due to an illness. If you’re seeing this post, maybe that one spot is for you.

The season has shifted here for us. The fresh, cooler air feels amazing. 🍂 The Jerusalem artichokes are in full bloom, so we’ve brought some onto the covered veranda to welcome our guests. Loving the bright yellow flower - perfectly imperfect.

We’re looking forward to another beautiful morning together at Inner Oaks. 🤎

We sit in the presence of a season ending, feeling the gratitude of all that it brought to our guests from near and far.

There’s so much we could attribute this feeling to, but as we trimmed the lavender today and picked a small handful of these late-blooming flowers, we felt such a deep love for these beautiful vibrant flowers, the plants and this energetic property.

For the abundance that was, and is, and all that is still to come. 🤍

There’s something so beautiful about the changing of the seasons and the reminder that everything has its time. A time to bloom, a time to give, a time to release, and a time to rest.

And today, it was time to give the lavender a little haircut, trimming it back just below where it bloomed. This little bit of care helps encourage healthy new growth when it begins again next season, while the winter months give the plants their time to rest and rejuvenate. We honour all the seasons. Trusting each one is preparing us for what comes next.

And while one season is winding down, we’re preparing to welcome overnight guests again this week, and we’re feeling grateful for every bit of what this beautiful place continues to bring. 🤍

We’re so grateful for the abundance we are surrounded by. Appreciation for the little things - which in reality are really the big things in life. ✨ Happy to be hosting a cacao ceremony, as a way of closing out the season here at Inner Oaks. It’s on September 26th from 9 to 11:30. Message us for more info. We’ve already have two husband and wife duos who have signed up. Great for couples or individuals - open to everyone. ✨

It’s already mid-September, and the gardens are still producing. We are slowing down for the season now, but still offering overnight stays that include breakfast.

We’re still marvelling in all the gratitude from our fantastic summer and all the incredible people we met along the way.
