The only thing better than a Brand New Day?

This patient presented with heavy calculus (tartar) buildup behind and in front of the lower front teeth. This buildup is an accumulation of hardened plaque that traps harmful bacteria against the teeth and gums.

Left untreated, it can lead to bleeding gums, gum recession, bone loss, and eventually tooth loss. Chronic gum inflammation has also been linked to health conditions such as heart disease and diabetes.

Cleanings like this are incredibly rewarding. Not only are we improving oral health, but we're also helping patients regain their confidenceโ€”one smile at a time.
