I flicked everything out with a flat iron, hit it with Texture Tousle, scrunched and zhuzhed.

Cyndi has been with us for over 25 years.

Yesterday I made a discovery while experimenting with a toner, definitely more violet than the Rose Gold I was looking for. We decided to dry the front anyway and Cyndi thought it was cool so we went with it.

It's the dream when a client is open to whatever as long as it looks good, and this looks pretty good.

Always dry the front before making decisions on colour. You never know.

Going through some old pics and found this file. This young woman was such a unique beauty and a dream to work with.

All I've done here is darkened the background and desaturated and touched up her skin. It's amazing what good colour, a dark background, and some back lighting can do. And of course a beautiful model.

This was an early makeover I did when they sent me some colour to play with.

I was debating selling this lens but editing this image has convinced me to keep it.

8 years ago today we prepped models for the Canadian launch of .

Cheers to the two incredible workaholics who made it all happen, and .

I'm grateful to have been on stage for every single Canadian show, and a few in the US and Europe. We had a crazy amount of fun, and we made some wonderful friends.

And... If you are eagle eyed, our lovely model here went on to become pretty famous after she finished hair school. All out models were our students, and this one became very big on Tiktok. Anyone want to guess who this is?

Long term clients will remember this photo from our "Thank You" postcards we used to send.
This was Stella, a rotten stinker of a dog that did what she wanted when she wanted. She was something else.
She had made a mess and needed a shampoo and blowdry, and we happened to have a photographer in our little salon at the right moment to capture her misery.
