It might still look like construction right now, but we can already see what’s coming.

Exam rooms. Treatment spaces. Places for conversations, collaboration and care.

And slowly but surely, Avalon Health is taking shape. 💙

We’re not just building the clinic right now, either. We’re building the team that will bring it to life.

We’re currently looking for family physicians, nurse practitioners, specialists and allied health professionals who want to be part of something new in Greater Victoria.

Every clinic starts as an empty space.

What makes it special are the people, the purpose, and the care that eventually fill it.

This will become one of the first spaces people experience when they walk into Avalon Health, and we're thinking carefully about what we want that experience to feel like.

Bright.
Welcoming.
Calm.
Comfortable.

Building a clinic isn't just about walls, flooring, or furniture. It's about creating an environment where people feel respected, supported, and cared for from the moment they arrive.

There's still a lot of work ahead, but standing in these empty rooms and imagining what's to come makes everything feel a little more real.

Avalon Health is preparing to open in Greater Victoria this Fall, and we're looking for physiotherapists who want to help shape something from the very beginning.

We're building a physician-led, interdisciplinary clinic where collaboration isn't just a buzzword—it's how we want to work every day.

We're looking for physiotherapists who are passionate about patient care, enjoy working alongside other healthcare professionals, and want to be part of creating a positive, supportive, and genuinely fun place to work.

We've been waiting to share this...

Avalon Health has officially found its home.

We're excited to be putting down roots in Saanich, just minutes from the hospital, where we'll be building a physician-led, interdisciplinary clinic serving patients from across Greater Victoria.

This is a huge milestone for our team.

For months, we've been planning, dreaming, recruiting, meeting incredible people, and building the foundation for what Avalon will become. Having a place to bring those plans to life makes it all feel a little more real.

We're not quite ready to welcome patients yet. There's still plenty of work happening behind the scenes as we prepare the space, build our team, and get everything ready for our Fall 2026 opening.

Over the coming months, we'll be sharing the journey as Avalon comes to life. We'll give you a behind-the-scenes look at the build, introduce you to members of our growing team, and keep you updated as we get closer to opening our doors.

There's something special about Greater Victoria.

It's a community that values connection, collaboration, and looking after one another. It's also home to an incredible network of healthcare professionals who care deeply about the people they serve.

That's why we're so excited to be building Avalon Health here.

As we prepare for our Fall 2026 opening, we're incredibly grateful for the encouragement, conversations, and support we've already received from practitioners, community partners, and local organizations.

We're looking forward to becoming part of the Greater Victoria healthcare community and working alongside others who share a common goal: helping people access thoughtful, coordinated care.

We're building an interdisciplinary environment where people can learn from one another, work together, and contribute to something meaningful.

We're currently accepting Expressions of Interest from physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners, allied health professionals, and administrative staff interested in joining our Fall 2026 launch.

There's a lot happening behind the scenes at Avalon right now.

The kind of work that doesn't always make it onto social media, but brings big ideas one step closer to reality.

Most people don't think about healthcare until they need it.

And when they do, they're often trying to navigate appointments, referrals, test results, different providers, and uncertainty about what comes next.

For many people, it can feel like they're the ones responsible for connecting all the dots.

The challenge isn't a lack of good people. We have incredible healthcare professionals throughout our communities doing important work every day.

The challenge is that healthcare can sometimes feel disconnected.

Conversations about communication, coordination, and continuity matter because they shape how people experience care.

And when people feel supported, informed, and confident about their next steps, the experience can feel a little less overwhelming.

When people think about building a clinic, they often think about the physical space.

The reality is that much of the work happens long before the doors open.

Every week brings conversations about patient experience, clinic flow, communication, collaboration, technology, accessibility, and how we can create an environment that supports both patients and practitioners.

There are hundreds of decisions behind the scenes, and while many of them will never be visible, they all contribute to the experience people will eventually have when they walk through our doors.

We're excited to keep sharing pieces of the journey as Avalon continues to take shape.
