Don't let the rising summer temperatures stop you from drinking your herbal teas.

You can still reap the benefits of their magic with one little switch up....

Make them iced!

Brew your herbal tea as you normally would, including adding your favorite sweetener if that's your jam.

While it's steeping, fill your cup with ice. Then pour your brew over this ice.

Add a straw, a fun umbrella, some edible flower petals, or sip straight.

Simple.
Delicious.
And your body will still feel the love.

What's your favorite iced tea herbal blend?

Hibiscus, rose, lotus, and skullcap are some of my top favorites.

Chamomile, turnera, and lavender are very close seconds.

The most brilliant of days is almost upon us.

Which also means it is almost time for us to gather within the Illuminated Heart.

This Solstice Retreat is a space to regroup within you, to connect to those around you, and to remember what it means to vibrate at the frequency of your original Source code - that of your Heart.

:: the JOURNEY ::

During the day, we will move through 3 layers of the Heart - that of the Opening, the Expansion and the Embodiment.

We will call on plant wisdoms to guide us more fully into each layer -

Hawthorn + Rose to open the Heart - creating a safe space for the protective layers to soften, while welcoming in receptivity, tenderness, and expression.

Lotus to expand the Heart - the delicious spaciousness of connection and sense of being held within something larger than yourself.

Sidr & Dandelion flower to embody the Heart - grounding the insights from the day into your body, supporting integration, presence, and brilliant illumination.

These plants are offered to deepen the connection to your heart and practices throughout the day. They will join us in the forms of tea, tincture, and glycerites.

No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to listen and receive. Taking the plant internally is optional. If you are not called to journey with it within, other options will be made available to connect to the plant spirit.

During this immersive exploration and connection with the wisdom of the Heart, space is created for both stillness, integration and active exploration.

This is a curated space for you to drop into your Heart, to feel it in its fullness.

It’s a space to witness your human totality, experience your love-led Divinity, & remember what it’s like to love and be loved.

You know that sense of peace that comes when you enter the stillness of nature?

The clarity that you feel with each breath?

The aha! moments that seem to come from nowhere?

That is you connecting to your intuition, hearing your own inner wisdom, opened up before you through the wisdom of the natural world.

It can feel hard to access in this world of go-go-go and seeming chaos. But it's not really so hard.

It just takes the pause. The moment to be still. The listening.

And it takes giving yourself the permission to be here.

The next Wild Wisdom Walk is this Sunday at the Government House Gardens in Victoria BC.

It is a gathering to awaken the present, silent space within that ignites your ability to remember, to hear, and cultivate your intuition.

As we come out the other side of the Blue Full Moon, we enter into a week of unwavering determination.

It is a week of making no compromises around what's nourishing - noticing the difference between what drains your energy and what fills you up.

This means taking an honest look at yourself and holding yourself accountable to the patterns and habits that you've put in place that again, either feed or deplete you.

Be firmly set in this, noticing where temptation comes in to make you waiver and fall back on old ways of being - those ones that stalled your momentum, that made you feel small, that kept you from being and feeling brilliant.

This doesn't mean an all or nothing approach to everything in your world.

What is means is finding the ways to uplift and approach things in a different manner, even the mundane things such as food.

Is your being asking for the comfort foods, like grilled cheese? Do it! But look at high vibe, nutrient dense yum like artisan sourdough and real cheese (goat, cow or plant based) instead of the plastic singles.

The same sensation of grilled, gooey and comforting, but whole food that actually feeds on all levels.

This whole process is about meeting yourself partway from where you were to where you are going. It's about taking your own hand and welcoming you to your own brilliance.

Water knows exactly where it needs to go. It doesn't ask how or why, it just flows.

Inspired by the landscape around it, it moves in ways that allow it to continue in the direction its meant to go. It flows through, around, under, over - whichever way is called for in that moment.

Through the energy of water you call this flow state into your world, your mind, your heart, your journey. It's a calling forth of the softening into your own intuition and creativity.

It is where you move with greater ease, trust and surrender.

It is where you see around the obstacles before you, the ones you feel inside you, the ones imaged and real.

This Monday, under the continued influence of the Blue Full Moon, we will invite in this wisdom through the Water Elemental and the plant spirit of Willow.

This is a journey about presence, not perfection.

It is about giving yourself permission to show up in all the ways it means to be human. It is a space to claim your place in this life and lean in fully to what it means to be the Essential you.

The Void of Un-Becoming.

Have you been here?

In the space that feels like nothing, like emptiness, after you have unloaded a whole lotta expectations, habits, and patterns that weren't yours to begin with?

This can feel like a scary space because all of a sudden the energy you are used to living in (even though not beneficial) is different.

The beauty about this 'empty plate' era of your journey is that it is full of potential, the smorgasbord just waiting for you to choose what you want to add back to the mix.
