What have you been saying to yourself lately?
“I’m not good enough.”
“I always mess things up.”
“I should be further ahead by now.”
“I can’t do this.”
Sometimes the person we speak to most harshly is ourselves.
Saturday, September 12th in my library class, we’re going to talk about negative self-talk, where it comes from, how it can affect our confidence and choices, and most importantly, how we can begin changing that inner conversation.
You don’t have to believe every thought that pops into your head.
We can learn to notice those thoughts, question them, and replace them with something kinder and more helpful.
Imagine how differently you might feel if the voice inside your head became your encourager instead of your critic.
That’s where we’ll begin.
Please join us Sat. Sept. 12th at the Vineland Library at 11:00 AM.
The class is FREE and so are the coffee and cookies!
Come as you are, meet some lovely people, and learn a few simple ways to quiet that negative inner voice and speak to yourself with a little more kindness.
I’d love to see you there!
