The International day of Forests was established to promote the importance of forests and trees in our lives. What better way to experience the forest than to spend the afternoon forest bathing.
Forest bathing involves slow, intentional time in the forest, engaging the senses; proven to lower blood pressure, reduce stress hormones, and boost immunity. This unique experience makes for a memorable date, a meaningful outing with friends or opportunity to invest in self-care.
Participants are invited to deepen their connections to nature, the forest and themselves and during this one hour guided experience. Participants will explore the forest, as sensory exercises and meditative prompts are shared along the trail.
