Survival mode doesn’t always look like chaos. Sometimes it looks like being the strong one all the time. Sometimes it looks like feeling guilty for resting, overthinking every decision, or taking care of everyone except yourself.

Healing taught me something I never expected… 🤍

I kept thinking healing meant becoming a different person — stronger, happier, more productive, more “put together.”

But maybe healing isn’t becoming someone new at all.

Maybe it’s learning how to feel safe enough to come home to yourself again.

The quiet walks.
The deep breaths.
The tiny steps nobody sees.
The choosing yourself over and over again.

For a long time, I thought healing had to look dramatic.

But some of the biggest healing moments in my life were quiet.

Sleeping peacefully.
Not panicking.
Laughing again.
Feeling calm in my own home.
Taking one deep breath without my body feeling unsafe.

That’s healing too. 🤍
