Making "after sun" care packs for our Desert Muse Festival hiking guests. I'm using these instead of disposable bags. Hopefully they'll use their bandanas on future and think of the beautiful time they had in the desert and the wonderful people they met. 💗

My favorite part of camping with my Mama. We both wake up early, start a fire, make coffee and chill. 💗

Had a lovely ladies camping trip with my Mama this weekend. I adored my camp spot and had the best neighbors. I took advantage and made sure to get my I practiced Tai Chi in the meadow behind my tent, had an afternoon stretching session under the pines, and jumped into a new novel while laying in the sun. But coffee and meals by the fire with my mom were my favorite part.

Silas, 8 months old. We decided his nickname is ***oy because his desire to play is unquenchable, even for a kitten. Here he is "helping me" get ready for an session. ❤️

Attended an awesome event in Tempe today hosted by mdvpa.org. I learned so much and am excited to explore the work of the new artists I was introduced to. I experienced my first live ASL poem and ABC story. Our presenter, performing artist Earl Terry, discussed the intersectionality of identity, language, and culture and I could totally relate. I was also proud of how much ASL I understood. (thanks to my niece Zoey ◖⁠⚆⁠ᴥ⁠⚆⁠◗) My reception skills are improving but I was still thankful for the interpreter.
