Hi, I’m ila!
This account is dedicated to my journey toward real satisfaction with food, performance, and life.
A little about me:
I did 14 years of artistic swimming, got into 5.5 years of kickboxing, and am now in my third year of CrossFit.
A lifetime of competitive sports shaped me — but it also shaped my struggles.
Since I was 17, I’ve struggled with disordered eating. Luckily, my family and friends reacted early, so it never became physically extreme — but it was enough to damage my hormonal system and create deep mental issues with food.
And anyone who’s been there knows: even when you’re “out of it,” some battles stay.
Over the last 10 years, I learned how not to starve myself, but in return, I developed unbalanced eating habits: cutting carbs, fearing sugar, obsessing over “clean eating,” labeling food as good or bad, overtraining, tying my self-worth or performance to made-up food rules.
So many times, I thought: “I just wish eating could be simple again.”
Then my bicycle accident happened — and things got worse.
I got into overtraining and more food extremes.
During my recovery, I found CrossFit — and immediately fell in love.
But CrossFit is different: You don’t need to compete to measure your progress.
CrossFit is about health, fitness, balance, and longevity.
It’s you vs. you — and it makes you stronger for life, mentally and physically.
At first, I didn’t get that.
I stayed trapped in old mindsets — until my body and mind finally pushed back.
It took emotional setbacks, physical lows, and a lot of uncomfortable (and scary) steps to finally realise: “If nothing changes — nothing will change.”
So I decided to make a change.
And this is the journey I want to share — maybe it will inspire someone else to take a step toward more satisfaction too.
The goal:
I want to build a balanced, sustainable nutrition habit that supports performance, health, and happiness — not only for myself but also to inspire others to find their own strength, balance, and freedom with food, so we can all enjoy the important things in life more.
