Nichole earned her Master’s degree in Health and Wellness Coaching, with a Concentration in Nutrition, from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. The program’s highlights include

client-centered and strength-based coaching, positive psychology, motivational interviewing and mindfulness. Nichole is a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach from the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches, a professional organization which holds strict educational and ethical standards for coaches, and partners with the National Board of Medical Examiners. Nichole is a fully certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. She has completed the 2-year program, “Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program” with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She also completed a course in Mindful Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the University of Minnesota. She has experienced firsthand the changes mindfulness and meditation can bring into one’s life, and is committed to helping her clients bring mindfulness into their daily lives as well.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my mindful leaf walks! The idea of a mindful walk is to come out of your monkey mind and connect with your body, breath and nature. Feel your breath, your feet touching the ground and concentrate on your 5 senses. What are you seeing, feeling, hearing? When your thoughts take over, bring your attention back to your breath and senses (over and over again) with kindness. It takes practice, but the benefits of calming your mind are wonderful 😊

My Mindfulness Journey
Mindfulness and meditation have profoundly transformed my life in many ways, and I want to help you use mindfulness tools and practices to transform your life, too.

While studying mindfulness meditation, I’ve learned to show up in the world with an open and loving heart, accepting myself and my life just as it is in this moment. I’ve cultivated compassion for myself and others, while also fostering a deep sense of gratitude for this precious gift of life. The practice of mindfulness has also helped me embrace forgiveness—both for myself and others.

Throughout the day, I now connect with my breath and body through sacred pauses, grounding myself in the here and now. This has helped me live more fully in the present moment and genuinely enjoy it.

Mindfulness of emotions has taught me to accept and transform difficult emotions like anxiety, fear, anger, and frustration by embracing impermanence and equanimity. I used to suffer from debilitating anxiety attacks before learning simple mindfulness tools that I now use daily. Additionally, I’ve learned to work with physical and emotional pain by seeing it as a symptom rather than resisting it.

By using mindfulness of thoughts, I’ve been able to shed thoughts, stories, and beliefs that aren’t true and no longer serve me. This has allowed me to break through limited beliefs about myself that had been holding me back for years.

Through this practice, I’ve experienced a connection with universal love through loving-kindness meditation, and I’ve connected with incredible people from all around the world who share this journey.
