Why is it that some people, especially young people, can spend hundreds of thousands on courses they may never fully understand, but hesitate to spend a small amount to attend a program that could educate them, expand their network, and even change their mindset or direction in life?

Dear parents/guardians, please stop forcing your children to do what they don’t want. 🙏

Always ask for their opinions and listen to their interests. If you believe teaching, for example, is a better career path for them, explain why you think so and help them understand the opportunities it offers.

Guidance is important, but so is listening. Let’s support our children to make informed decisions about their future. ❤️

On 30th August, Fulbe Student Development Association - FUSDA (FUSDA)and Guide Girls Network organized an orientation at Ntambang Community Hall for students who had completed Ordinary Level and Advanced Level and were confused about what to do next.

As one of the organizers and , I was happy to share my experience and information about the University of Bamenda, the University of the Future.

The discussion was fun and engaging. It was a roundtable discussion, and from my experience attending different seminars over the years, I have realized that roundtable discussions can be more engaging than the traditional seminar format.

There is no “boss” or hierarchy. Everyone sits at the same level, shares ideas, asks questions, and learns from one another.

Honestly, it was a successful and meaningful session. I shared, but I also learned a lot. 🙏🏽

One of the highlights of my tenure as President of the Faculty of science students' association was the successful organisation of the FASSA Tournament in late April and May.

The tournament brought together students through sports, competition, teamwork, and unity. We organised competitions in:

⚽ Men’s Football
⚽ Women’s Football
🤾‍♀️ Women’s Handball

The Men’s Football competition was particularly exciting, with an impressive 14 teams participating, making it one of the most competitive and engaging tournaments we organised.

The Women’s Handball competition began with 6 teams, with 4 teams actively continuing through the competition. We also introduced Women’s Football to make the tournament even more inclusive, interesting, and enjoyable for everyone.

Beyond the trophies and competition, the tournament created moments of unity, friendship, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories within the Faculty of Science.

As President, I am proud of what we achieved together. None of this would have been possible without the commitment of the organising team, athletes, supporters, officials, and every student who contributed in one way or another.

Leadership is not only about holding a position; it is about creating opportunities, bringing people together, and leaving behind experiences that people will remember.

Proud of the journey. Proud of the team. Proud to have served FASSA. ❤️💙

Grateful for the opportunity to have spoken during the webinar organised by Cameroon National Association for Health Awareness and Advocacy (CANAHAA) under the theme “Beyond the Results: Managing Your Mental Health, Navigating Through the Outcomes.”

I shared on “Navigating Choices, Careers, and the Future,” discussing informed choices, building skills beyond certificates, and taking intentional steps towards the future.

Your results are a chapter, not the entire book.
