THE FREE HEALTH CAMPAIGN BUEA 2026
The Free Health Campaign Buea 2026 was successfully organized and hosted by the Volunteer Medical Corps in partnership with Smart Health Association, Acha Eye Hospital, and other healthcare stakeholders committed to improving community health.
The campaign aimed to provide free healthcare services, promote disease prevention, and improve health awareness among residents of Buea and surrounding communities. Services offered included general medical consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar screening, eye consultations, health education, and referrals for specialized care where necessary.
The event recorded an impressive participation of over 1,000 beneficiaries, demonstrating the significant healthcare needs within the community and the importance of such outreach initiatives. Numerous cases of hypertension, diabetes, visual impairments, and other health conditions were identified and managed appropriately, with several patients referred for further evaluation and treatment.
We express our sincere appreciation to all healthcare professionals, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and community leaders whose contributions ensured the success of the campaign. The overwhelming turnout and positive impact achieved reaffirm the need for continued collaborative efforts to expand access to quality healthcare services in our communities.
