Many nurses in Africa put in their best to serve humanity and serve lives, yet go home with little or nothing in their pocket as salary cause of low pay wage.

As a Nurse, I have worked through this path and navigated different streams still in the field of nursing but aside hospital pay.

If you are still relying on your hospital salary in 2026, know you're still behind.

Join the September batch and watch your account smile later.

10 DAYS MENSTRUATION LECTURES

Day 5/10Days.

Knowing Your Cycle.

This is one the areas in menstrual education that most young ladies and even mothers still struggle with it. In every 10 girls/women, 5-6 don't even know their cycle.

Your cycle is not just the days you are bleeding. Your cycle is from the FIRST day of one period to the FIRST day of the next period. For most girls it's 21 to 35 days. If you don't track, you will always be surprised."

WHY TRACT?

- To know when your next period will come, so you prepare pad in your bag

- To know what is NORMAL for YOU - your body is not your friend's body

- To quickly know if something is wrong - if you miss 2 months, or bleed for 10 days

- To know your fertile window - this is how you protect yourself from early/unwanted pregnancy

HOW TO TRACK?

- Use a small notebook or calendar.

Example:

> January: You started menstruating on the 5th
> February: Started on the 2nd -> this calculation makes your Cycle = 28 days (from 5th Jan to 2nd Feb)
> March: Started 3rd -> Cycle = 29 days

WHAT'S NORMAL/ABNORMAL?

NORMAL:
- Cycle 21-35 days
- Bleeding 3-7 days
- Small clots, cramps first 2 days

NOT NORMAL - See a nurse/doctor

- Bleeding more than 8 days
- Cycle less than 21 days
- No period for 3 months (and not pregnant)
- Very bad pain that stops you from going to school
- Period smells though you change pad frequently

10 DAYS MENSTRUATION LECTURES

Day 4/ 10 DAYS

How to Care for yourself during period pain (Dysmenorrhea)

A woman can mentrate 12 times in 12 months, but not all will come with same experience. Some may have unexplainable pain, while wmsole won't. Every painful period is not a call for painkillers meds, but a call for strategies to be put in place.

Hello, I am Marivon, a Sexual Health Educator from Douala, Cameroon. I educate young girls and women on menstrual health, body awareness, and sexual well-being. I have led programs in schools, churches, conferences, and on TV over the years to break myths and empower girls to stay healthy, confident, and informed.

I also teach girls and women how to understand their bodies, manage their periods with dignity, and make healthy choices. I believe when a girl knows her body, she can protect her future.

Sexual Health Education isn't limited to just the female gender but all. Prioritizing Sexual Health and Reproductive Right is building a pyramid for a healthy society.
