As the world celebrates Children’s Day with gifts, laughter, and beautiful clothes, let us not forget the children who will sleep hungry tonight… the street children, the abandoned, and the orphans who have nobody to call “mother” or “father.”

While some children are surrounded by love, others are surviving under bridges, by the roadside, in markets, and in broken shelters. Some have never celebrated a birthday, never received a toy, and never felt the warmth of a real home. Yet behind their dusty faces and torn clothes are innocent hearts still hoping for love, care, and a better tomorrow.

A street child is not useless. An orphan is not forgotten by God. Many of them are victims of poverty, war, rejection, and circumstances they never created. What they need is not mockery, but compassion. Not abandonment, but opportunity. Not pity, but genuine love.

Children’s Day should not only be about celebration; it should also be a reminder of our responsibility as humans. A single act of kindness — a meal, a smile, school support, or simply listening — can change a child’s life forever.

Today, let us remember the children who cry silently at night, the little hands forced to beg instead of write in classrooms, and the young souls growing up too fast because life gave them pain before love.

To every orphan and every street child around the world:
You are seen.
You are valuable.
You are not forgotten.
And one day, your story will inspire the world.
