OVER -THE- COUNTER (OTC)MEDICINE CAN DAMAGE LIVER.
Over- the -counter .medicines are those that can be bought with any without prescription in the pharmacy.
Examples of OTC medicines are; Paracetamol( with branded names; Doliprane,Efferalgan) with NSAIDs the damage the liver fi not taken the right doses.
Examples of NSAIDs are; Diclofenac, Ibuprofen and piroxicam.These the medicine commonly found in the community.They are called painkillers. When taken in high doses and or taken for long periods they will damage your liver. What might be surprising here is that some people take it with alcohol claiming it helps in neutralizing the alcohol.This is very dangerous because combination alcohol worsen the liver damage..
