I visited a sister today, I noticed her child was becoming light skinned (she’s naturally dark in complexion). I asked her mom why. She’d bought a body lotion (For adults at 10,000frs) for the child because she thought it will be great for her but No. Instead , her body was peeling off, herskin color un uniform too.
If you have a child or children, listen up.
Baby skin is softer than adult skin. Using chemical packed product on their skin will cause skin damages that might last long.
I did recommend her to use shea butter which is excellent for children . You know why?
Shea butter is rich, creamy, and packed with essential fatty acids to keep your baby’s skin happy and protected. It’s a great natural choice to use in babies’ daily skin care routine to reinforce their skin’s natural barrier. Besides making the skin incredibly soft, shea butter contains antifungal properties. It’s high in vitamins A and E, and helps promote collagen production in the skin. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory, helping to soothe even the most sensitive skins. It repairs dry skin , diaper rashes, heat rashes, eczema etc on your baby’s skin. This is a great product to add to your baby’s daily skincare routine.
