🤱 Your belly hasn't gone back to normal, even months after giving birth? It's not just "extra fat."
Many new mothers feel guilty comparing themselves to others, thinking more exercise or more sit-ups will "fix" it. But sometimes, classic abdominal exercises actually make the problem worse.
What's called abdominal diastasis is a separation of the abdominal muscles that spread apart during pregnancy — and it doesn't always close back up on its own after birth.
It's not a lack of willpower. It's a muscle that needs retraining, with the right method.
