As part of implementing the Building Resilient Immunisation Delivery through Grassroots Engagement Project (BRIDGE) in 32 Health Districts in Adamawa, Far North, North, North West, and South West regions, the CBCHS Immunisation Program is conducting a two-day orientation workshop in Soa on August 20-21, 2026.
Participants include technical teams, frontline actors, including CSO representatives.
The session aims to present the BRIDGE Project workplan implementation approach and describe the technical rollout approach, including each actor's roles and responsibilities.
Opening the session, the CBCHS Immunisation Program Manager, Dr Eugène Foyeth, underlined the key role CSOs will play in achieving the project goals and called on colleagues to focus on quality work and effectiveness.
Through the BRIDGE Project, CBCHS aims to optimise community involvement in routine and catch-up immunisation in fragile and underserved settings in Cameroon, in collaboration with the EPI, MannionDaniels, Gavi, and Gavi Alliance partners.
