Pluslife Founded in 2017, Pluslife is best known for its Palm-Sized Mini Dock Molecular POC System.

The technology behind called RHAM, a self-invented and patented nucleic acid isothermal amplification detection technology that is comparable to lab PCR test performances. PFSCM (The Partnership for Supply Chain Management) has shared a new update on the continued rollout of the Pluslife NPOC TB diagnostic platform.

According to PFSCM, more than 1,600 MiniDock devices, together with reagents for over 2 million TB tests, were delivered in under three months to Bangladesh, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, and Vietnam.

Behind these numbers is the coordinated work required to introduce new diagnostic technologies—from procurement and logistics to installation, training, maintenance, and country-level planning.

With nine of the 13 participating countries having now received the platform, the rollout is helping bring molecular TB testing closer to primary healthcare facilities and communities, where timely access to diagnosis can make a meaningful difference.

For Pluslife, this progress reflects our continued focus on making molecular TB testing more accessible across different healthcare settings.

🇹🇿 NPOC embarks on its journey in Tanzania

We're pleased to have completed Pluslife MTB NPOC training with Ciheb Tanzania, marking an important step toward bringing rapid molecular TB testing closer to patients in Tanzania.

With results in around 30 minutes, NPOC has the potential to shorten the diagnostic pathway and facilitate same-day test-and-treat, helping to close the TB diagnostic gap.

With support from Stop TB Partnership TB TB REACH Wave 11Plus, this marks the beginning of our regional real-world evidence journey in Tanzania. We look forward to working with local partners to generate context-specific evidence that can inform future local TB testing strategies and guidelines.

Proud to see Pluslife MTB featured at the 7th Kenya International Scientific Lung Health Conference (KISLHC 2026), responding to this year’s theme: “Patient-Centered Innovations in Lung Health.”

For communities where primary healthcare facilities serve as the first point of contact with the health system, bringing accurate and accessible TB testing closer to patients can make a meaningful difference. With its compact and portable design, Pluslife MTB is designed to support molecular TB testing in primary healthcare settings.

As part of the Stop TB Partnership Wave 11 Plus project, CHS Kenya is currently conducting field implementation of Pluslife MTB. We look forward to learning from the evidence generated understanding how innovative diagnostic solutions can contribute to closing the TB diagnostic gap and strengthening access to TB testing.

Zimbabwe has moved Pluslife NPOC testing into first-line TB diagnosis. 🌐

Building on WHO’s recommendation for NPOC-NAATs, Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care has authorized Pluslife testing, with immediate effect, as the initial diagnostic test for people with presumptive pulmonary TB at facilities implementing the assay.

Following a national field evaluation, the Ministry reported 96.4% overall concordance with the low-complexity automated NAAT (LC-aNAAT) comparator used in the evaluation. It also stated that Pluslife testing was 50% less expensive than that comparator.

Scale-up has been prioritized in Zimbabwe’s TB and Leprosy Strategic Plan 2027–2030, helping expand access to rapid molecular diagnosis, reduce diagnostic delays, and support earlier treatment initiation.

At Pluslife, we remain committed to advancing health equity by supporting broader access to molecular diagnostics in decentralized and resource-limited settings. We will continue working to bring timely TB testing closer to the people and communities who need it most.

A milestone has been reached in the “Innovative Approaches in Tuberculosis Control” project in Azerbaijan!

A community-based approach, combined with a mobile screening van, offers an opportunity to bring TB testing closer to people who are often harder to reach. We look forward to seeing the findings and learning how NPOC testing can help expand access to TB care among vulnerable populations.

Thank you to TƏBİB and the Lung Diseases Center (Ağciyər Xəstəlikləri Mərkəzi) for designing and implementing this locally contextualized TB screening programme and for bringing innovative TB diagnostic approaches directly into the community.

Near-POC TB testing is moving from evidence to implementation in Nigeria. 💪

With support from TB REACH, Janna Health Foundation has become the first organization to implement programmatic testing in Nigeria using the Pluslife MiniDock MTB Test. JHF has already conducted thousands of tests in communities and health facilities, helping more people access molecular TB testing.

This week’s Stop TB Partnership monitoring visits across Adamawa State also highlight that successful implementation depends on more than technology—from power supply and battery charging to sample transport, patient throughput, and local infrastructure.

In Bangladesh, a recent Pluslife group training focused on turning technical knowledge into practical readiness through workflow demonstrations, peer exchange, and hands-on practice with the MiniDock platform.

The sessions enabled TB professionals to deepen their understanding of the testing workflow and build confidence for the real-world implementation of decentralized molecular diagnostics.

A recent group training brought TB professionals together for technical exchange, workflow demonstrations, and hands-on practice with the Pluslife MiniDock platform.

This is how decentralized molecular testing moves closer to real-world use: by equipping local teams with the practical knowledge and confidence needed for implementation.
