Proud to see Pluslife MTB featured at the 7th Kenya International Scientific Lung Health Conference (KISLHC 2026), responding to this year’s theme: “Patient-Centered Innovations in Lung Health.”

For communities where primary healthcare facilities serve as the first point of contact with the health system, bringing accurate and accessible TB testing closer to patients can make a meaningful difference. With its compact and portable design, Pluslife MTB is designed to support molecular TB testing in primary healthcare settings.

As part of the Stop TB Partnership Wave 11 Plus project, CHS Kenya is currently conducting field implementation of Pluslife MTB. We look forward to learning from the evidence generated understanding how innovative diagnostic solutions can contribute to closing the TB diagnostic gap and strengthening access to TB testing.

Zimbabwe has moved Pluslife NPOC testing into first-line TB diagnosis. 🌐

Building on WHO’s recommendation for NPOC-NAATs, Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care has authorized Pluslife testing, with immediate effect, as the initial diagnostic test for people with presumptive pulmonary TB at facilities implementing the assay.

Following a national field evaluation, the Ministry reported 96.4% overall concordance with the low-complexity automated NAAT (LC-aNAAT) comparator used in the evaluation. It also stated that Pluslife testing was 50% less expensive than that comparator.

Scale-up has been prioritized in Zimbabwe’s TB and Leprosy Strategic Plan 2027–2030, helping expand access to rapid molecular diagnosis, reduce diagnostic delays, and support earlier treatment initiation.

At Pluslife, we remain committed to advancing health equity by supporting broader access to molecular diagnostics in decentralized and resource-limited settings. We will continue working to bring timely TB testing closer to the people and communities who need it most.

A milestone has been reached in the “Innovative Approaches in Tuberculosis Control” project in Azerbaijan!

A community-based approach, combined with a mobile screening van, offers an opportunity to bring TB testing closer to people who are often harder to reach. We look forward to seeing the findings and learning how NPOC testing can help expand access to TB care among vulnerable populations.

Thank you to TƏBİB and the Lung Diseases Center (Ağciyər Xəstəlikləri Mərkəzi) for designing and implementing this locally contextualized TB screening programme and for bringing innovative TB diagnostic approaches directly into the community.

Near-POC TB testing is moving from evidence to implementation in Nigeria. 💪

With support from TB REACH, Janna Health Foundation has become the first organization to implement programmatic testing in Nigeria using the Pluslife MiniDock MTB Test. JHF has already conducted thousands of tests in communities and health facilities, helping more people access molecular TB testing.

This week’s Stop TB Partnership monitoring visits across Adamawa State also highlight that successful implementation depends on more than technology—from power supply and battery charging to sample transport, patient throughput, and local infrastructure.

Respect to JHF, TB REACH, Stop TB Partnership, and the local teams turning innovation into practical learning and bringing molecular testing closer to communities.

In Bangladesh, a recent Pluslife group training focused on turning technical knowledge into practical readiness through workflow demonstrations, peer exchange, and hands-on practice with the MiniDock platform.

The sessions enabled TB professionals to deepen their understanding of the testing workflow and build confidence for the real-world implementation of decentralized molecular diagnostics.

A recent group training brought TB professionals together for technical exchange, workflow demonstrations, and hands-on practice with the Pluslife MiniDock platform.

Closing the TB diagnostic gap requires more than innovation. It requires real-world evidence, implementation experience and partnerships that can turn promising tools into practical access.

Through TB REACH Wave 11+, 18 projects across 12 countries are building evidence on NPOC diagnostics in settings ranging from primary care and community services to prisons and vulnerable populations.

We were glad to join the Global Implementation Workshop on NPOC TB Diagnostics in Bangkok and exchange experiences with national TB programmes, implementers, experts, manufacturers and donors from 30 countries.

At Pluslife, we will continue contributing to the evidence and implementation pathways needed to bring molecular TB testing closer to the people who need it most.

We're glad to see the Pluslife MiniDock MTB Test supporting TB diagnosis at a health facility in Kenya, as shown in this video shared by Kenya’s National Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Lung Disease Program (NTLD-P).

The video follows the on-site workflow from sample preparation through testing to result review, showing how near-POC molecular testing can help shorten the wait for results and support more timely next steps for patients and healthcare teams.

We will continue working with partners to make molecular testing more practical and accessible—so more communities can get answers closer to where care begins.
