I FOUND THE ONE IN PRAYER ❤️🙏🏽

So many single women ask me:
“How do you find a good man?” 😩

And honestly…
there’s no perfect formula.
I wish there was 😂😩

But looking back, there are 2 major things I believe positioned 👈🏼me to meet my husband:

1. PRAYER 🙏🏽

I literally had a journal 📓dedicated to praying for my future husband.

I prayed specifically.

I prayed we would be a TEAM.

I prayed he would be an amazing father.

I prayed we would travel the world together 🌎✈️

I prayed he would love Jesus FIRST… then love me well.

I prayed for wisdom, purity, friendship, purpose, and peace in our future marriage.

I prayed for so much more…and God answered 😭

So technically…
I didn’t “find” CD on a dating app or asking around for a guy. (Which God can still use both)

I found him fully surrendered & while serving Jesus on a mission trip in Uganda, Africa 🇺🇬😭 wow!

2. I BECAME THE ONE ✨

While I was praying for my future husband…

I held in one hand👋🏼
the grief of “what if I don’t find someone -I’ll still love and serve you fully Jesus” &

👋🏼in the other hand the hope of a godly marriage while I was also working on becoming a healthy future wife.

I dealt with my trauma.❤️‍🩹
I served faithfully at my local church.
I honored the leaders God placed in my life.
I worked on my finances.
I grieved loneliness in prayer and got back up. 🙏🏽
I worked out.💪🏽
I had fun.
I enjoyed my singleness.🎉
I stopped wasting time living halfway in and halfway out.

I became the kind of person I was praying to attract.

And honestly?
These are still the same principles we now coach men and women through today.

If you desire marriage, but fear the dating scene right now…I get it!!

As you wait, focus less on chasing and more on praying, healing, obeying God, and becoming whole ❤️

And please…
be led by the Holy Spirit 🕊️while you wait & date.

Because whew 😭
the dating scene is GHETTO out here.
We cannot afford not to PRAY & be in a healthy community.

I love dancing with my husband 😍😍 especially on the streets of Paris

This was such a FUN moment as we walked the streets of Paris, we heard Latin music and were like “WHAT?!😍🥰🎉💃🕺?”

Couldn’t pass that moment up… 🤣🎉
