A little late, cause life happened, but here is this weeks reading!
1. The wand: action, will magic.
Affirmation: I make creative change happen.
Challenge: How will you take command of your life?
The wand connects the creative energy of the universe to the hand of the person who wields it. Magical will directed through the wand can dispel negativity and draw positive power. It’s the divine spark of change and grow.
Reversed it means that your energy is being misdirected now, flowing into channels that deaden it rather than enliven it. It is time to rethink your strategy.
2. Portal: change, mystery, awakening.
Affirmation: I walk with courage through the doors of perception.
Challenge: What do you sense from the Otherworld?
The portal to the Otherworld is the place where what is known intersects with what is unknown. Release any resistance you may have to the unknown and the unseen. Don’t cling to what you thought you knew to be true. Open up to new possibilities. You are ready to make profound changes and move forward to the next stage of your spiritual development.
3. Yule: faith, comfort, light.
Affirmation: My inner flame burns brightly.
Challenge: What awaits you in the deepest dark?
Winter solstice brings the longest night and the shortest day. The kindling of Yule fires, candles and festive lights affirm the spirit’s faith even in the darkest times. Reversed it means that you may not feel like turning your negativity around or finding your faith. Sometimes it’s fine to just sit with your gloom. But don’t let it go on too long.

Does your mind play tricks on you?
Telling you you’re not good enough?
Listen, to be tidy is to be out of tune with the cosmos.
It’s time to stop judging yourself for not fitting into a society that feeds off your soul.
It’s time to stop judging yourself for being human. For being beautifully messy.
Go inward and listen to your body. Your body will never lie to you.
Your mind will play tricks, but the way you feel in your heart, in your guts, is the truth.
Remember, your nervous system is designed for a society that doesn’t exist anymore. So be kind to yourself.

Today I stepped on my mat and did a short yoga sequence. The first one in weeks. And I ended it in tears, tears of gratitude for my body’s ability to heal. We’re not there yet but together we’ll be working on getting back.
So here is a reminder to take a moment to appreciate and feel gratitude for your body.
My dear body,
I am sorry that I sometimes think I know best and try to take control when really you are the expert.
My dear body,
Thank you for teaching me to slow down.
I appreciate your ability to heal from injuries.
I appreciate your ability to channel me back to what’s really important in life: being here.
I love you because you let me do everything I want to do.
I appreciate you carrying me all around the world.
I appreciate you for letting my heart beat and my blood flow throughout you.
I appreciate you supporting my life.
Allowing me to see all the beauty in the world, eat tasty food and carrying me through life.
I appreciate you for letting me experience love.
To myself,
To the people around me,
To this magical earth.
