Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, in every form and every season. 🫶🏽
Pouring their heart, time, energy and emotion into their babies.

Motherhood is beautiful, exhausting, emotional, invisible, powerful and without a doubt one of the hardest jobs in the world.
The mental load, the sleepless nights, the constant giving, the worrying, the loving so deeply it changes you forever.

To the moms carrying it all with grace, even when it feels heavy, I see you.

I’m sharing a few photos of the pieces of my heart, the little humans who made me a mama. Being their mom has stretched me, humbled me, softened me and taught me more about love than anything else ever could.

I’m grateful for my own mom, the women who helped shape me along the way and the women I get to do motherhood with.

And to the mamas who have trusted me to walk beside them through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and becoming: thank you. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you. 💜

Appreciation post 🫶🏽
A heartfelt thank you to those who have booked with me, attended events, shared my name, recommended my services, shared my content;
it means more than you know.

I’m grateful for the trust families place in me and for the moments you allow me into, some of the most intimate and vulnerable spaces in your lives.

If I’ve ever supported you and it feels aligned, I’d love to hear from you here. A comment, a few words, whatever is on your heart. 💜

Serving families in all the ways I can, through every season of the journey…

Yes, I care about your well-being.
Yes, I care about your experience - not just the outcome.
Yes, I care about Black maternal health.

Yes, I care about how you feel in your body.
Yes, I care about how you’re spoken to.
Yes, I care about your partner feeling supported too; so they’re not just standing there like 🧍🏽‍♂️
Yes, I care about what happens after everyone else leaves.

And yes… I’ve built my work around all of that.

But for the sake of clarity, here’s what I actually offer:

✨ Birth Doula Support - emotional, physical and informational care from pregnancy to labor

✨ Postpartum (aka helping you survive those first weeks) - in-home care as you recover and adjust to life with your baby

✨ Lactation Support - gentle, real-time guidance for those early days of feeding

✨ Placenta Encapsulation

✨ Prenatal Grief Circle - held monthly in Los Angeles for those navigating loss, holding space that feels safe and supported.

✨ Free Community Workshops - Hosted twice per quarter in Inglewood, CA creating access to education, connection and real conversations around birth and postpartum

✨ Fresh 48 Photography (no awkward posing, just real life) - capturing those raw, intimate first hours with your baby

Basically… I’m in your corner from pregnancy to postpartum and even in the spaces people don’t talk about enough.

Inquiries are always open, even for months that look full, sometimes things shift and I can refer you to trusted support if needed.

With love of course…

But really… this work means so much to me.
Supporting people through one of the most vulnerable, powerful moments of their lives is something I don’t take lightly.

Busy day, but the kind that fills your cup a little too ✨

After a prenatal visit, I stayed a bit longer at the birth center and got to learn how to palpate and find baby’s position. (Thanks 😊🫶🏽)

There’s something so cool about being able to feel, understand and connect with what’s happening inside the womb in real time

Grateful for moments that slow me down and remind me how much there is to learn and experience in this work.

When baby is learning to latch, we support the process.

During today’s postpartum visit we focused on feeding support. Baby was having a hard time latching after several attempts, so mom decided to pump and offer colostrum by syringe to make sure baby was still receiving milk.

In this video I’m collecting colostrum into a syringe after mom pumped.

Colostrum is often called “liquid gold” for a reason. It’s baby’s first immune protection, rich in antibodies that help support the immune system and protect the gut in those early days of life.

In the beginning, babies only need very small amounts. When latching is tricky, offering expressed colostrum by syringe can help bridge the gap while baby continues learning to latch. (I also recommended for her to see a lactation consultant)

Sometimes feeding support looks like patience, flexibility and making sure those tiny golden drops still reach baby.
