The craving doesn't hit at 6pm. It hits at 11.
The house is quiet. Everyone's asleep. And your brain starts making the case. "One won't hurt." "You've earned it." "Tomorrow you start fresh."
Here's what most guys don't know: a craving is not a command. It's a wave. And a wave has a peak — usually 15 to 20 minutes — then it breaks. Every single time.
You don't have to defeat it. You have to outlast it.
Three things that buy you those 20 minutes:
1. Change rooms. Physically move — the craving is anchored to where you're sitting.
2. Cold water on your face and wrists. It interrupts the loop in your nervous system. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
3. Text one person. Not to confess — just "you up?" Connection shrinks the wave.
I put the full version — the one that's gotten guys through their hardest nights — into a free 1-page guide: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟏𝐩𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥..
