Before there is harmony, there must be space for it to exist.
The ancient Greeks called the octave diapason ā€” meaning ā€œthrough all possibilities" or "the space for everything." It is a beautiful idea: that before life can express itself fully, there must first be room for expression.

In terms of the ascent of consciousness 1/2 represents the space within the whole cranium. When the tuning forks are sounded, they resonate within the cranium the way a Gregorian chant resonates through a church.

When we stand beneath the dome of a cathedral, we sense how sound fills the space around us. A single note expands, reflects, and seems larger than itself. In much the same way, the octave reminds us of the inner space we carry within.

In a world that constantly asks us to fill every moment, the octave offers a different invitation: to create space.
Because growth does not happen when life is crowded.
It happens when there is enough room for possibility to emerge.
The octave is that reminder.
The space for everything. The place where potential begins to resonate.

The Otto 128Hz is the vibration of the perfect Fifth interval. Once the vibration of the Otto 128 is introduced into the body, it travels throughout the body as a Perfect Fifth wave. The Otto 128 acts through tissue vibration, and the C and G tuning forks act through sound waves to signal the nervous system to come back into balance.

The transmission of sound waves through the body was confirmed in 1990 by Dahl and Grosebek in the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America. While researching the effects of sound on fiber motion, they found that sound waves stimulated any flexible fibrous material, e.g., nervous and connective tissue throughout the body.
Their research supports the claim that tuning fork vibrations can induce resonance in fibrous connective tissues such as muscle, cell membranes, nerves, ganglia, and plexuses (nerve networks) of the human body.

It is the Perfect Fifth pulse created by the Otto 128 and Perfect Fifth wave created by the C and G tuning forks that tunes the nervous system, potentially spiking the release of nitric oxide (NO), and stimulates the release of antibacterials, antivirals, and free radicals.

Ideal nervous system tuning is a perfect balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. It makes sense that the Perfect Fifth has been known as the interval of perfect balance between yin and yang throughout history.

When the nervous system comes into tune and nitric oxide is stimulated, some of the benefits attributed by researchers are: enhanced cell vitality which is the basis of anti-aging, a stabilised body metabolism that regulates digestion and body weight, an enhanced vascular flow leading to increased energy, stamina, sexual drive, enhanced memory, and a greater sense of well being.

Research has also demonstrated that the proper stimulation of NO may act as a preventative to the development stroke, heart attack, diabetes, Alzheimerā€™s, depression and autoimmune disease.

Has anyone lost this little soul?
She just appeared in the garden last night and still here this morning. We gave her food and a bed outside.
We don't have neighbours and we live on a busy road.... And have a very big dog who isn't used to cats. I'm trying to introduce them but it's not going well!
Bo is currently on his balcony while she is enjoying his toys in the garden! She is a funny, happy little thing.

Definitely not feral, loves attention and the house!
I'm happy to pay for jabs etc but I can't keep her as am more worried about the road.

Fibonacci Sequence continuedā€¦
The first step after 0 in the Fibonacci journey is 1/1, known as the Fundamental.
It is the first expression of something emerging from nothing. The first note arising from silence. I strike the fork gently, it sings, the journey begins.
Unlike the intervals that follow, 1/1 cannot be divided. It simply isā€¦.

If Zero is the stillness before creation, then One is the moment creation begins. The seed stirring beneath the soil. The first pulse of a heartbeat. The first breath of a newborn child.

In nature, every complex pattern begins with a single point of origin. A single cell. A single spark. A single note.

Perhaps that is why the Fundamental feels so familiar. It reminds us that beneath all the roles we play and the noise of daily life, there is something essential that remains unchanged.
A quiet centre.

A place where we remember who we are before we become distracted by who we think we should be.

Falling in love, starting a new venture, travelling somewhere unfamiliar, learning a new skill, even a profound healing experience can all place demands on the body and mind. Yet these challenges can also expand us.
Life is constantly asking us to adapt.

In Five Element work, balance is not a fixed state we achieve once and keep forever. The elements are always moving. At times we need the courage and motivation of Fire. At others, the grounding of Earth, the flow of Water, the creativity of Air, or the spacious perspective of Ether.

The Fibonacci spiral can be found throughout nature, including sea shells. The seashell spiral can be translated into a number sequence called the Fibonacci Series, which can in turn be translated into a set of tuning forks.

As Iā€™ll be sharing the magic of the Fibonacci sequence with guests on an upcoming retreat hosted by Mindful Living, I thought it would be great to share a daily post leading up to this, and explain the alchemy of each interval and how it affects consciousness.

The Fibonacci Tuning Forks are designed to resonate with the pathway of consciousness from the sphenoid/pituitary axis to the pineal gland. They are an amazing tool for visualisation of personal goals, manifestation and healing.

So, We begin with Zero.
Not as absence in the way we usually think of it, but as a kind of quiet intelligence before form. Before the body organises itself around rhythm. Before sound decides what it will become.

In the Fibonacci field of sound, Zero is the still point at the centre of the spiral. The place where nothing is yet defined, and because of that, everything is possible.
In ancient language, this would be called the space before creation.
In modern language, it might be described more simply as coherence before expression.
A moment where the system is not yet leaning in any direction.

When we work with sound at this level, we are not always adding something. Sometimes we are remembering how to listen without interference.

The nervous system, when given enough space, knows how to settle back into its own intelligence.

Zero is that invitation - A return to baseline. To the pause that exists before interpretation. To the breath before meaning arrivesā€¦ā€¦
And from here, everything begins to unfold. šŸŒ€
