aiming to keep things pretty balanced whilst travelling, focusing on eating whole nourishing foods and ensuring I’m still eating enough daily, nothing extreme just consistency. I don’t drink alcohol even when away but I do like a sweet treat in the evening.

a few things I didn’t film were my .uk intra workout carbs, electrolytes and some nuts. I obviously don’t weigh my food when away but I still like to track loosely aiming for around 3200+ calories to support performance, recovery and overall energy levels. You just can’t beat the mediterranean diet 🐠

go all in on your fitness, your faith, your career, your growth & leave no stone unturned. As a mother building her own brand this is something I will always stand by 🌊☀️🧜🏼‍♀️

the beginning of this year has been about finding myself again after my back injury. I miss competing so much and feel like part of my identity has been stolen but I’m grateful for the progress and what we are secretly building towards 😉

Still hitting my CrossFit workouts whilst here, but making the most of the outdoor weather by running along the beach and swimming in the sea. In fact life couldn’t be more perfect because I’m right where I’m supposed to be 🤍

as you can see my nutrition changed a LOT 👉🏼

I have always spoken a lot about nutrition but here’s what had to change for me to build muscle mass.

- calories increased WAY more than expected
- tracked my food so I could learn what my body actually needed (not everyone’s preference but it can be a great tool)
- doubled my carb intake around workouts for performance and recovery
- measured my creatine intake properly
- prioritised hitting enough protein daily
- stopped filling up on low calorie foods and started eating more satisfying meals
- focused on micronutrients and macronutrients
- continued increasing calories as I gained more muscle

The more muscle mass meant my body needed more fuel to perform, recover and grow.

I’m grateful I’ve learnt how to fuel and train properly because it has built me a stronger body and now I can pass this knowledge on to you. One thing I noticed was that I’ve always had a good endurance engine, but I couldn’t push bigger numbers without more muscle mass behind me. So if you think smaller automatically means faster.. think again.

Hope this helps 💛

our bodies are capable of so much more than just being admired, workout for what your body can do not just how it looks.

follow a balanced training plan you love and genuinely enjoy showing up for. The focus shouldn’t be train to be smaller, it should be train to be capable 🤍
