It only takes a minute, but it gives your body something it may have been missing all day: a little more softness, mobility and joy. And you can do it anytime and anywhere 😉
This is one of those movements I come back to when I have been sitting for too long or my hips and lower back feel a bit stuck.
When you sit, feed, bend and carry your baby, your pelvis can spend hours moving within the same small range, often with more weight on one side.
Slow circles shift your weight from foot to foot and invite your pelvis, hips and lower back to move in several directions again.
It is not about making the biggest or most perfect circle. Keep your knees soft, move slowly and change direction whenever it feels right.
Noticing where the movement feels good is more useful than getting it “right.”
Give your tired hips and lower back a little love, and let me know how it feels 💜
