F**s on the beach
Meeting for trans* fa**ots at La Bassa Mar, from 3rd to 10th August 2026
Exclusive for transmascs, priority to BIPoC

We are very happy to invite you to this summer retreat: this is an invitation to create a space where there’s no need to choose between participating in the gay codes or the alternative q***r scene. As transmascs we often face a lack of access to gay and fa**ot spaces, and when we do get access, we sometimes encounter specific difficulties to move in them. This is why we are sharing this open call for all transmaculine fa**ots, giving priority to BIPoC people, and seeking the participation of people of different ages.

Let’s get together to get to know each other, relax and enjoy being f**s in the sun. And also lets talk and share our experiences inside and outside the mainstream and alternative gay scenes. The final program will be defined together when we meet at La Bassa Mar. We expect that there will be shared moments in the swimming pool of the house, days at the beach, spaces to exchange with each other on these subjects, and, if there are people interested, excursions to fa**ot places in the area.
There will be a maximum of 20-25 participants. Since we would like to give more people the opportunity to participate, there will also be the option to camp on the property this time.
To cover the stay and food on site we will be asking for scaled contributions.
In a self-managed way, we will share the tasks to facilitate the coexistence during this week (there will be cooking and cleaning shifts).

The rooms available for sleeping are shared, mostly with bunk beds. There are several common areas and plenty of space on the grounds surrounding the house.

La Bassa Mar is located in a rural area and is isolated from its neighbors.(more info at http://bassa-mar.org)
If you are interested in taking part, please complete the form linked in our BIO before 6th of June.
Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

Thanks for the beautiful image!

Medical Counseling

We offer medical consultations twice a month on topics related to physical and mental health, as well as questions about medical transition.

Information around hormone therapy and accompanying medications, risk reduction with DIY therapy, questions about pathways and options in the established medical system, sexual health, and other concerns can be topics for an appointment.

We are doctors (cis female internal medicine specialist and a genderq***r doctor in training for general practice). We identify as white q***r alleys and have both been working in q***r medical fields for several years. We have been in contact with Casa Kuà for some time through various connections. It is important to us to offer a space where people can have low-barrier, safe access to sound information.

PLEASE NOTE:
In this setting at Casa Kuà, we can only offer medical counseling. We don’t have the possibilities to offer other medical services such as medications, blood work or other diagnostics.

LANGUAGE:
We can offer consultations in German and English.
If you require an interpreter, please arrange to bring someone to interpret with you or contact the team at [email protected] to see if someone can support your needs at the appointment.

The medical counceling is free of carge and no health insurance is needed.

APPOINTMENT:
To make the best use of the time for everyone, we ask that you schedule appointments in advance via the pad
https://pad.systemli.org/p/CasaKua-MedicalCounseling-SignUp-keep

We will see as many people as possible during the counseling hours, but also take time for the topics you bring. If you come without appointment and there is space, we will try to see you, but there is no guarantee.

Join us for the second edition of our dreamscape gathering where Afrofuturism, Transfuturism, and CimarronxFuturism merge.
This is a place to imagine, create, and collaborate -a space where we dream new / alternative / anti worlds into being.
This event was created because we believe in the endless possibilities of dreaming together. In a world that often tries to erase us, we need spaces where we and our, radical imaginations, and visions can thrive.
In this week long event there will be a curated mix of workshops, and possibilities for creative: forums, discussions, and collaborative activities as well as places of collective rest. The Black Imaginination is the central theme for the days. In order to create our own dreamscapes as well as ways to dream together.
It’s open for Black, African, Afro
descendant, Afrodiasporan, Cimarronxs, Marrronxs who are also Q***r, Trans, Inter or gender dissidents.
The cleaning and cooking will be divided into shifts during the space.
A sliding scale donation is asked for food and accommodation to cover expenses. But if you need support to attend please message us using this form.Max 15 participants

Library Gathering: Class Struggle & Labour Rights
Thursday, May 14th 6-9pm

We will gather this May around class struggles, labor rights and collectivism for a cozy evening of collective reading & conversation. We will read aloud together from ‘Black Marxism: The Making of the Black Radical Tradition’ (Cedric J. Robinson) and ‘Transgender Marxism’ (ed. Jules Joanne Gleeson and Elle O’Rourke), then discuss.

We welcome any other readings that you wish to bring or pick from our library catalogue, focusing on topics of solidarity, racial capitalism, gender liberation, etc., and how these ideas meet the current political climate we are facing.

There will be some baked goods to share, you are welcome to bring something as well!
Come listen, read, share thoughts, or just be there.

Lohana Berkins Library
May Open Hours:
Monday 04.05, 2 - 6pm
Thursday 21.05, 2 - 6pm

We will have Open Hours from 14:00 - 18:00 on Monday the 4th and Thursday 21st, when you can drop in to read books, drink tea, and chat with other bookworms. You can also become a library member and sign out a book to read at home.

Also during library hours, between 3 - 5pm, we’ll have a bureaucracy table, where we can tackle our bureaucratic tasks in a collective setting where they have less power to overwhelm us. Please note that this is a peer-to-peer space created by whoever happens to attend on a given day. There are no experts present to help with tasks, but others attending may have some info/guidance to offer, or people maybe decide to team up and take turns tackling each person’s tasks as a group (or find any number of other creative strategies!).

Please note that the library days and hours differ from month to month, so be sure to check again for next month’s Open Hours.
No appointment needed. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.

The NADA protocol is a standardized form of acupuncture involving five ear points, administered in a specific setting. It has proven to be an effective treatment for individuals experiencing stress, trauma, or a wide range of mental health conditions.
NADA involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized, disposable needles at specific points on each ear. Participants sit quietly in a group setting for 30-45 minutes and allow the treatment to take effect.
The NADA protocol was developed in the 1970s in New York’s South Bronx by members of the Black Panther Party and the Young Lords to address addiction within
Black and Puerto Rican communities.
Treatment using the NADA protocol can support people who:
want to better cope with daily stress suffer from stress or burnout symptoms are dealing with traumatic experiences experience restlessness or sleep disorders are managing chronic pain
are struggling with addiction or substance use (alcohol and or drugs)
are living with mental illness experience hyperactivity or eating disorderswant to stop smoking
There are no known medical contraindications. NADA is a non-verbal treatment method, meaning participants do not need to speak or share anything unless they choose to.
We offer NADA sessions on Mondays at 18:00 for Q***r
BIPOC, and on Thursdays at 18:00 for Q***r BIPoC and all Trans, Inter, and Nonbinary people.
Please check our Telegram channel or Instagram for the current monthly schedule.

💬 Coming Out 💬

For our next gathering, we’re keeping it cozy and inviting you to a conversation circle.
We’ll be discussing how we navigate coming out in work, school, and other cisnormative and/or heteronormative environments, and what we do when the choice to come out is no longer ours. Undergoing medical transition can make our transness visible in ways that force conversations we are not always willing or ready to have, so let’s talk about navigating this together, the challenges, conversational methods, fears, and logistics.
After the discussion, there will be some time to share our thoughts and feelings about the topic or simply hang out together.
Let’s spend a soft and relaxed evening together. We’ll have plenty of vegan snacks, and you’re welcome to bring something too.
✨ Tuesday, May 5, from 7-9pm in Casa Kuà✨
Looking forward to seeing you 💕
