🪷 One of the most sacred meditations in Kundalini Yoga, Gyan Chakra Kriya was traditionally practiced to open the way for abundance, prosperity and miracles.
Through its continuous circular movement, this kriya works with the heart, aura, arc line and life force. It is traditionally said to support healing, help release stored anger, strengthen intuition, and increase our capacity to move through change with greater grace and ease.
Start with 11 minutes. Stay present, turn your attention inward, and you will already begin to feel the effects of the meditation. ✨ From there, you may continue for 21 or 31 minutes — but let the practice unfold from within. Let your soul guide you, rather than the ego mind stretching the time just to prove something to yourself. 🤍
When you finish the meditation, inhale and stretch the arms straight up alongside the ears, lengthening the spine. Hold for 10 seconds and exhale, repeating three times. On the final inhale, stretch upward and twist the body left and right 7 times before returning to center and exhaling.
You can start with a commitment of 7, 11 or 21 days, and if the practice continues to call you, extend it to 40, 90 or 120 days.
120 days of steady practice is said to create profound change — transforming not only you, but your very capacity to create and embody change. 🪷
Save this practice and come back to it whenever you feel called. 🤍
