Swipe ➡️ A belated post from a belated Easter celebration 🎉 we celebrated on the weekend after Easter due to some family having commitments on Easter weekend. Vegetarian BBQ lunch (tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, eggs, wholemeal rolls and reduced fat cheese) followed by fruit and lollies 😋 with a bit of pretty decor thrown in for a celebratory vibe 🕯🌸🍽 Food is more than just nutrients - it's also central to gatherings and celebrations 🎉

Meal with a view while on an overnight hiking trip. Dairy-free instant mashed potato and freeze dried green beans - very lightweight. Not a completely balanced meal on it's own but fine in the context of the snacks and other meals I had eaten that day - and other nutrients could be 'caught up' when I got back home. Most importantly - it's something I knew I would eat - I really struggle to refuel while hiking, so this was pretty good.

Love a good pear and rocket salad and arancini balls 😋 these from recently were very delicious.
