Nearly 1 in 3 EU workers say work caused or worsened their stress, depression, or anxiety (OSH Pulse 2025).
On 13 October, EU-OSHA launches its 2026 to 2028 Healthy Workplaces Campaign, "Together for mental health at work." The campaign focuses on psychosocial risks. These are risks to mental health that come from how work is organized, such as heavy workloads or harassment.
The focus is on prevention: assessing risks regularly, improving how work is managed, and involving workers at every step. Workplaces that regularly check for these risks are 40% less likely to report high stress (ESENER 2024).
Anyone can take part, from employers and workers to HR teams and policymakers. The European Week for Safety and Health at Work, 19 to 23 October, is a good place to start. Learn more at healthy-workplaces.osha.europa.eu
At Sooma, we make a brain stimulation treatment for depression that people can use at home. In Finland, people can also get it through occupational health. We care about how work affects mental health, and we're glad to help share this campaign. Learn more about noninvasive brain stimulation at soomamedical.com.
