TissueGUARD will be at Cornea Forum 2026 in Orlando!
Our colleague Simone Arndt, M.Sc. will present our latest DSAEK development, a joint effort with Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank, in her talk: “Method for ultrathin DSAEK Graft Implantation without pull-through technique with incision under 3.0 millimeters”
The presentation will introduce our novel cannula design and an approach to DSAEK graft implantation without a pull-through step, developed together with Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank (RMLEB). We look forward to sharing this work and exchanging perspectives with the corneal surgery community.

Ophthalmic surgical devices are our core business — and more are on the way. But our development pipeline goes further: we are also working on innovative hydrogel-based technologies as medical devices for ophthalmology and beyond.

We are pleased to announce that TissueGUARD's leadership team will present our latest developments in ophthalmic medical devices and regenerative biotechnologies at the World Eye Bank Symposium (WEBS 2026) in Prague on 25 June 2026.
Simone Arndt, M.Sc. will present our novel DSAEK devices and graft preparation technology (thanks to Sächsische Aufbaubank - Förderbank -), while Mikhail Tsurkan, PhD, will present our work on regenerative medicine approaches using bioengineered Descemet membranes for corneal endothelial replacement.
These scientific presentations highlight our ongoing efforts to advance corneal transplantation through innovative research and technology development. We look forward to engaging with colleagues from the global eye banking, corneal surgery, and ophthalmology communities at WEBS 2026.
