A thought worth reflecting on...
Why does a beautiful face often get more attention than years of hard work, discipline, and dedication?
Beauty catches the eye instantly. Hard work is usually invisible.
Behind every black belt are thousands of hours of training, sweat, setbacks, self-doubt, and the determination to keep going. Yet, all too often, appearance receives more recognition than the journey behind the achievement.
Maybe it's time we learned to appreciate not only what we see, but also the effort, perseverance, and character it took to get there.
Beauty may attract attention, but discipline, character, and resilience deserve respect. 🥋
What do you think: Why do people react more strongly to beauty than to achievement?
Short version:
A sad but often true reality:
A beautiful face gets more likes than 20 years of hard work.
Yet beauty fades with time. Discipline, knowledge, experience, and character remain.
Think about that.
