🎉 We have a winner!
Congratulations to the winner of our 20th Anniversary GROW Month Display Contest!
Their creative display featured both GROW Bananas 🍌 and GROW papayas 🥭, with fun signage carrying impact messages like: “When you buy a GROW banana, you’re sending a child to school.”
They took it even further with an online article, free GROW bananas for kids to celebrate, and a September campaign matching donations for every banana sold. 👏
A wonderful way to celebrate 20 years of GROWing Together. 💛🌱

🎓 GROW Scholar Spotlight: José Aristeo
From shy teen to role model, from farm fields to published research, from humble beginnings to a career in ag-tech, Aristeo’s journey shows the power of education and opportunity. 🌱
A GROW scholar since 2014, Aristeo studied agriculture at the University of Colima, contributed to research on sustainable banana cultivation, graduating in 2025 and is already employed in the ag-tech sector.
His story is a reminder of why GROW exists: every bunch of bananas and papayas helps create opportunities for young people to build brighter futures. 💛

🌍 Partner Spotlight: Children International

For over a decade, GROW funds have helped Children International provide access to medical, dental, and nutrition services for nearly 20,000 children and youth each year in Guayaquil, Ecuador. 💛

From rehabilitating children at risk of malnutrition, to offering over 43,000 local health services, to empowering parents with nutrition education — every GROW banana and papaya sold helps make healthier futures possible. 🍌

Wow — 20 years! Can you believe it? 🎉
Two decades of creating real impact in growing communities. Two decades of insisting on doing business the right way.

When my parents founded Organics Unlimited, key to the mission was to have a positive impact on our people and our communities.

This month we celebrate GROW: a program born out of that spirit. But it’s also a chance to celebrate every company committed to doing things right — even when it’s not the easiest or the cheapest.
💛 Here’s to the independents, the family farms, the co-ops.
💛 Here’s to preserving human dignity at every stage of the supply chain.
💛 Here’s to 20 years of GROWing Together.
Keep an eye out for GROW features all month long in our mailer (DM us if you’d like to be added!). We can’t wait to see how you bring the GROW story to life through your displays. 🍌

Join us at where we'll be moderating a special session on Thursday, March 13th at 10:30am, where we’ll explore how to preserve and pass down the wisdom of organic pioneers.

Organic didn’t just happen—it was built by visionaries who turned a movement into a thriving industry. But as those pioneers retire, we risk losing hard-won knowledge about how to organize, inspire, and create real change.

📍 Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about two important projects that look to institutionalize our access to the wisdom of those who paved the way for our trade.
