September is the time when seeds return to the earth; it is when we celebrate the equinox and the festival of the moon, or Coya Raymi. It is a time of dying and being reborn.
New possibilities will germinate; after having rested in stillness and darkness, the seeds will open with the arrival of the rains to see the light once more. All of this begins on September 21st.
By September 24th, for as long as I can remember, wherever I find myself, a heavy rain falls that refreshes my body and my soul. This rain leads me to deeply feel my heart and to enter that state of sensitivity, contemplation, and gratitude for life. It reminds me of the day I was born and teaches me that the divine mother has already been born within me, that I am in holy peace with all the beings that surround me, and that all I have left is to give thanks. This year has taken beings I have loved deeply, like my grandmother, who taught me to open my heart despite the pain, to forgive any mistake received or caused by myself. She taught me that life is good and mysterious, and that it is important to know how to live it in order to enjoy it, listening to God within me.
My grandmother, my beautiful elder, went to meet the source of life, and I am left with only gratitude for everything she has given me with so much love. She left so that other souls could arrive; it is an offering of love.
This birthday I will not receive her call to wish me well, but she will live eternally within me—in the way I express my love, in the way I learned to live thanks to her, in the simple and little things.
There is no pain, only love; that is what Grandmother Ayahuasca taught me. This year I give thanks to life, to God, to the Goddess, to the Christ energy, and to all my teachers, guides, ancestors, allies, and divine beings of light and love, for not abandoning me in difficult moments, for carrying me in their arms.
I am infinitely grateful to the people who love me and whom I love, to my mother and father, to all my family and friends, and to those who have come to our retreats or have ever crossed my path, and especially to my life partner, the love of my heart and soul, Alex, with whom we have created this home and who has given me these two wonderful daughters, whom I also love and thank for existing and being.
This day I give thanks for my life, for how beautiful it is to live the mystery every day. For being able to continue serving the sacred medicine of my heart, Ayahuasca, alongside Hannout.
What will this 38th solar return bring? Only God knows, and I am here, ready and willing to continue the journey.
