Перекрытие — это не про то, чтобы спрятать старую татуировку.
Это про то, чтобы перестать с ней жить.
В таких работах важно не просто перекрыть, а создать новый уровень —
по композиции, по форме, по ощущению.
Дракон в этом случае — не просто изображение.
Это выбор в сторону силы, контроля и другого восприятия себя.
Сейчас один из таких проектов в работе.
Результат показал в видео.
Если делать перекрытие — то так, чтобы в итоге хотелось не скрывать, а показывать.

Realism tattoo is where atmosphere becomes the main story.
For me, creating space, depth, and mood is the most interesting part of tattoo storytelling. In this black and grey realism tattoo, I focused on composition, light, and contrast to achieve a balanced and natural look.
Structural overlaps were challenging at first, but during the process they became part of the design rather than a limitation. This realistic tattoo is about subtle detail, controlled shading, and a calm, atmospheric presence — something I value deeply in realism tattoo work.

A full-scale project.
The hand — restoration,
the inner arm — cover-up,
the outer arm — clean skin.
All brought together in realism, forming one cohesive story.
This is not “fixing the old” or “just adding something new.”
It’s work with form, the age of the tattoo, skin, light, and the logic of the body.
Done so everything feels unified, alive, and powerful.
When a tattoo doesn’t argue with the past — it strengthens it.
When clean skin and old elements begin to work as one.
When the result is not just beautiful, but worthy.
This is exactly why I love what I do.

Covering up a 35-year-old tattoo.

This project was unique because there were no ready-made references at the right angle or style. I had to draw the bull skull by hand, which isn’t common for realism, but my skills made it possible. This helped me get the perfect angle and create shadows that covered the old tattoo naturally. In the end, the result was truly one of a kind.

Every detail was carefully planned to make the cover-up look smooth and tell a new, inspiring story.

I completed this tattoo in two sessions. The idea fully belongs to the client — it’s exactly what she wanted to see on her body. My task was to create the right composition, apply it technically with precision, and give it artistic flair. Everything is done so that the tattoo looks harmonious and makes her happy every day. We’re both pleased with the result!
