We're pleased to announce a partnership between Rology and academy to strengthen education and professional development for imaging professionals across Egypt, KSA, and the wider region.

Rology brings the clinical reality of AI-assisted teleradiology at scale, working with hundreds of hospitals and subspecialist radiologists across 13 countries. MedSkAi brings a structured, practitioner-led learning platform built specifically for applied medical and health sciences.

Applying her MIT machine learning background to practical diagnostic imaging, Layla Thiessen interned at Rology, where she worked on AI-assisted chest CT analysis and abnormality detection.

Beyond technical growth, she learned the importance of balance and connection in the workplace, stepping back from intense project focus to build meaningful relationships with her team. Her experience solidified her passion for AI in healthcare and her commitment to using technology to save lives.
