A year ago, I introduced CIG – MFM (Cardiology Interest Group).
Then… nothing happened.
No consistency. No real output. And that’s on me.
But here’s the truth: the idea was never the problem—the ex*****on was.
So I’m restarting CIG from zero. Not as an idea this time, but as a system.
🫀 What CIG will be in 2026: A focused, ex*****on-driven cardiology community built on 3 pillars:
• Education
• Research
• Real-world impact
⚙️ What’s different this time? We’re not building “teams” for titles—we’re building small, accountable units with clear deliverables.
📌 Phase 1 (First 8 Weeks): Foundation
- Weekly high-yield cardiology sessions (clinical + USMLE-focused)
- Launch 1 structured research project (systematic review or meta-analysis)
- Build a core team of committed leaders only
📌 Phase 2 (Months 2–3): Growth
- Publish educational content (cases, ECGs, quick reviews)
- Submit research to conferences/journals
- Start community awareness initiative (hypertension / lifestyle / prevention)
📌 Phase 3 (Long-term): Impact
- Collaborations with other educational channels
- Advanced research pipeline
- Real clinical exposure opportunities
🚫 No more “inactive members”
✅ Only people ready to work, build, and stay consistent
👥 I’m currently looking for:
Research Lead
Education Lead
Operations/Strategy Lead
If you’re serious about cardiology, research, and actually building something—not just joining names on a team—this is for you.
📩 Comment or DM me, and I’ll send the application form.
Let’s do it right this time.
