Happy that despite all this virus me and Geomancy Climbing could still go on with our Rock climbing and yoga retreat. 5 days full of climbing, yoga, stretching, eating healthy food, learning how to massage ourselves and having fun. Thanks to Melanie and Justin for joining us and to The Olive Branch El Chorro Club for hosting!

🇱🇻 Tieši pirms gada sagaidīju 9 brīnišķīgas sievietes Malagas lidostā, lai pavadītu 7 neizmirstamas dienas dažādos piedzīvojumos gan El Chorro, gan Malagā- ietu pārgājienos, nodarbotos ar jogu, kāptu via ferrata, supotu un kajakotu, apmeklētu slaveno Caminito del Rey, iedzertu tipisko dienvidu vīnu Malagas slavenākajā vīna pagrabā un vēl un vēl un vēl. Vairāk bilžu no 2019.gada aktīvās nometnes vari meklēt mūsu FB lapā. ⁣
⁣

⁣
🇬🇧 Just a year ago, I waited for a 9 wonderful women at Malaga Airport to spend 7 unforgettable days on various adventures in El Chorro, and Malaga - hiking, doing yoga, climbing via ferrata, SUP and kayaking, visiting the famous Caminito del Rey, drinking typical Malaga w**e in the most famous w**e cellar and doing more and more and more. You can find more photos from the 2019 active retreat on our FB page.⁣
⁣
Unfortunately, the retreat planned for this year had to be canceled, but I am very pleased to say that the it will be back next year! And there will be surprises in the program! And there will be actually two camps, one in El Chorro and the other around Andalusia. We will announce the exact dates in the autumn so stay tuned!

Just a bit of my yoga practice.

🇬🇧 After 50 days on lockdown today we are finally allowed to go for a walk and practice individual sports, but only early in the morning or late afternoon. Even though during the lockdown we where not allowed to do outdoor sports I am trying to be physically active every day. I did 30 day yoga challenge with and successfully finished my 4week training program from prepared me. Now I have started my next training program, 6weeks this time and I am also doing daily 20min split stretching. When the lockdown started my main goal was to try to stay active and do at least 30min of activity every day. So far it's been very good. Starting from today I will also include daily hiked into my training. How do you keep yourself active?

🇬🇧 During this emergency situation in Spain we have been doing shopping every two weeks, that means that we need to bake our own bread. As there was a shortage of yeast, I started making soda and buttermilk bread and also made my first sourdough starter and bread. Soda bread is very easy to make and doesn't need much time, you can add different ingredients. My favorites are sundried tomatoes and olives, onions and different kind of seeds.
Sourdough bread took more time and effort but the results where equally good. I still need to work on the right cooking temperature and duration. I also baked some bread filled with pesto, banana breads and hamburger bans with sezame seeds.

🇬🇧 So Spain has been on a lockdown since 14th of March and no outdoor activities all allowed so that means we can't climb or go for a hike or a run etc. 😢 But despite all this situation we are trying to keep ourselves positive and occupied. We are lucky to be living in a house that has small garden around so all that keeps us busy - repainting the house, making new terasses and paths , planting new plants and doing weeding. And of course doing our daily training, yoga and stretching and let's not forget about cooking, reading and evening movie sessions.
And what about you? How do you keep yourself busy during this emergency situation?
